I used to disembark here every week day to go to my secondary school.
It's an ok station, not much going on there but then it's not really busy, even on schooldays given that most schoolkids are East coming and get off at Northfields.
Whilst it's a grade II listed building and the local government are forever harping on about its art deco design. I personally find it has a rather sad looking façade.

Nice to actually stop for once at one of those stations between Acton and Heathrow. Previously they were just places I had to get through...on my way somewhere else.


Then again what is the point of stopping here. Didn't seem to be much worth visiting. The district line had the right idea when it stopped coming here almost 50 years ago!

Boston Manor is my 'local' Tube station, and I use that term lightly, as it takes a 20 minute bus ride for me to get there, and I live in nearby Southall. Boston Manor in the heart of the Hanwell suburbs You know, the area that likes to think they're all posh but really aren't? Yeah, anyway
