Services
The design, aesthetics and the brand of Hotel Xanadu was inspired by the City of Xanadu, built around the summer residence of Kubla Khan; one of the great emperors of China. Immortalised by the poem of S.T. Coleridge, founder of the English Romantic Movement, the Hotel Xanadu brand draws inspiration from the summer palace retreat of the Mongol ruler and emperor of China.
The seasoned traveller knows when to rest and especially where: in the creatively appointed, sophisticated and comfortable rooms of Hotel Xanadu. Our 46 bedrooms and two executive suites are havens of serenity; muted colours and soft textures create a relaxed ambience, comfortable 5ft king-size or twin beds will help soothe you into a good nights sleep.

Disgusting treatment from this place. They cancelled our booking (for a family of 4 - with two young kids) just hours before we arrived. Claimed there was a problem with the card (there wasn't - no attempt had been made to take payment). They didn't even call or message!!!
To make matters worse, the person who answered my call was extremely rude - saying it was 'tough luck' and he frankly didn't care that I now had two tired children with nowhere to sleep for the night!
I can only assume they had double-booked the room and didn't have the spine to admit it. I've never encountered such a lack

Great hotel for the price. Rooms are clean and tidy. I found it quite peaceful but it was out of tourist season. Lots of restaurants right outside the door. Underground is a 10 minute walk. Overall, a good experience.

Best nights kip I've had in a long time. Although I arrived at my important business meeting quite late as I just didn't want to leave. But hey that's taxidermy for you. Always a rush.

Great hotel!
Friendly and helpful welcome, smooth fast lift, lovely clean room and bathroom, amazing power shower! If you have long hair dont pack your hairdryer - use theirs it's perfect. Bed is soft but comfortable, pillows are lovely. Will definitely come back. Fortune cookie is a nice touch.

I’ve stayed here before, on my own, and the stay was excellent. I just stayed again, with my wife on our honeymoon and I wasn’t disappointed. The location is great, within a couple hundred meters of Ealing Broadway tube and rail station. There is a ton of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby so we were able to find places to eat with little to no problem. Additionally, the rooms are spacious and clean, and my wife was a big fan of the hot chocolate and shortbread cookies, which hotels back in the USA don’t offer. Next time we’re in London, we’ll stay here again.

A decent hotel, especially for Ealing. It's modern, clean and just a 5 minute walk to the Ealing Broadway tube station.

Although there is no fitness center, they have an arrangement with a fitness center a couple blocks away that's terrific and well worth using and includes pool, steam, sauna, etc.

The restaurant downstairs is Asian and they only serve dim sum. The restaurant closes at 10pm, and that's when room service begins. Before that there is no room service. There are plenty of nearby places to eat however.

The rooms are clean and modern with all amenities.

I wasn't expecting to be given a suite when I arrived, but boy was it welcome. Two rooms, a sofa and giant TV in one, bed and TV in the other. Real coffee as well as tea and biscuits. Carpeted throughout. Beautiful!

I ate over the road at the Pho Saigon (reviewed earlier as it was SO good) but they have a restaurant serving dim sum of you don't want to go anywhere else.

When travelling to West London for business I've stayed at the Xanadu a couple of times so far. It's conveniently located in central Ealing.
The reception and breakfast areas look modern. The rooms are a bit more plain but the showers are really nice and big.

Breakfast, if not included comes at £10 which seems like a normal price even if the breakfast is what you find in any hotel: a choice of cereal or a full English. Fruit selections are a bit meagre.

Ealing seems a nice and up and coming area. Food, pubs and shops are plentyful and it's well connected to get you into central

Came here Christmas Day having celebrated locally with family. We arrived about 9.30pm to find an unprepossessing exterior and small interior. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, average sized and functional. We had booked a king bed which was comfortable.
The bathroom had no bath but the shower was hot and powerful. I wouldn't say there was an abundance of free toiletries: just shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. Girls you will need to bring your conditioner, cosmetic pads etc. Also, the lighting in the room was very poor so it's hard to see what you're doing
