Unfortunately Track and Trace poses a significant risk to the practice staying open so we will be keeping the consulting rooms closed to clients for the timebeing. Thank you all for your understanding, you have all been fantastic at helping us get through this most difficult of times! We are a local independent practice offering the highest standards of care at reasonable prices to our local community in and around Uxbridge.
If you want to see a vet as quickly as possible, we provide same day appointments, subject to availability. We are able to provide fantastic facilities, including state of the art digital x-ray services, in-house laboratory and diagnostic services. Dr Alistair Townsend and Mark Vince RVN have over 45 years' experience between them providing the very best service to our clients and their pets.

Services
I qualified as a vet 25 years ago and have worked in general practice in and around London pretty much ever since with brief periods teaching in a university in Mexico and as a manager in a large group (which I didn't enjoy nearly as much!). I owned practices across South London for 15 years before moving to Uxbridge and I have really enjoyed the welcome I have received here.
Our pets are precious family members and we worry when they are poorly. Unfortunately there is no NHS for pets and so the costs of any veterinary treatment need to be paid for. At Uxbridge Vets our dedicated friendly team of veterinary surgeons and nurses will provide exceptional veterinary care for your pet at affordable prices.
Having your pet vaccinated protects them against the most common infectious, and potentially fatal, diseases. By bringing your pet for an annual health check and vaccination you are giving them the best quality of life and protecting others, as you are reducing the chance of any outbreaks of infectious diseases.
Becoming a member of our Healthcare plan is a sensible way to budget and spread out the annual costs for preventable treatments. We offer a scheme for cats, dogs and rabbits which covers the costs of your pet's vaccinations, de-worming treatment and flea prevention treatment for a whole year, two annual health checks and even includes 10% discount on all your bills!
The decision about whether to have your pet neutered needs to be considered. We advise neutering as it is beneficial for the health of your pet (reducing the chance of cancer and infections of the uro-genital tract) and preventing unwanted litters from being born. Dogs are neutered generally at 6 months and cats and rabbits slightly younger.
