We had a wonderful Christmas team lunch at the Kew Gardens Hotel: the food was delicious (and very reasonably priced); the service was helpful and friendly; we were very well looked after; the staff checked reguarly if we needed anything; and at no point did we fell rushed. The pub and dining area are very well managed, particularly in terms of covid safety .
A specific 'thank you' to Rashaan, the Assistant Manager, who managed our experience from the inital booking through to waving us a goodbye. He was incredibly helpful. Beforehand he answered our questions promptly and professionally, he greeted

I was here for lunch and some drinks. The sunday roast was excellent, with a good portion well priced and the drinks available were good quality with a breadth of selection. Despite these positives, the service was horrendous. While I don't doubt they were short staffed when we attended, it took over 30 minutes between asking for the bill and our server returning. A set of drinks we'd ordered had been forgotten, when we chased this up the server rushedly brought them to our table, in doing so they spilled some of the drink over our table but made no motion to help clean this up - we had to go back

Really expensive, considering the room was shabby, really shabby. Marks on the walls and floors, badly worn carpets, missing tiles and grout in the bathroom, and every single flipping picture was wonky. For £170, for one night! And didn't even include breakfast? Manager was nice enough, though he doubled up as barman at the pub downstairs, which is quite nice. But unless there is no where else available, I wouldn't go back.

Very pleased! A beautiful, well maintained hotel close to Kew station and Gardens with an exquisite bar and restaurant with a great atmosphere. The breakfast included in the room cost was very nice, and professionally cooked. Staff were very friendly and professional.I wouldn't hesitate to return, highly recommended.

I love Kew Gardens and am a holder of a Kew Gardens annual family pass. I go alone with a book, with friends just to meet for coffee (and to get those steps in) or with my grandchildren as it has some amazing open spaces where they can run around and play hide and seek.
Everytime I visit Kew I discover something new... this time I found a secluded area where I was able to take the photograph of the male pheasant below beautiful bird, great colouring and also quite curious.
Although Kew has facilities to purchase food it's great for a picnic but no barbecues (please remember to put your rubbish

This hotel is great. The rooms are small but we'll stocked, perfect for the solo or couple traveler (I stayed in a full bed alone). I love that they stock a bookshelf. The pub downstairs is a delight. My first night here I was lured down by the live music. The free breakfast on my reservation seems nice but takes a while so don't plan for it if you are in a hurry. Still, coffee, fruit and granola are ready available and you get to sit in a lovely breakfast nook under the glass patio.

We had a really lovely meal a few days after Christmas. I had the croquettes with pear and ginger chutney and the chicken with mushrooms and rosemary fries. Both were delicious, but my starter was quite special. I stole a few bites of my husbands venison ragu pasta dish, very tasty. He really enjoyed his scotch egg as well. I was too full to try the sticky toffee pudding, (my favourite!) something for next time!
