Services
The Taste of Nawab was established in 1996. On establishment, we were dubbed as "a new indian restaurant sure to fail", however we took this challenge in our stride and proved than by ensuring we provide quality food and impeccable service we would become a success. We also recognised the importance of giving back to the community and supporting as many charities as possible and over the years have participated in many charitable events.
ALLERGEN ADVICE: We have marked our menu so you can see if you need to avoid any dishes. If you have any allergies please advise a members of our staff. Although we take the greatest care, some of our dishes may contain very fine traces of nut products or flour, and some fish dishes may contain bones.
Her Royal Highness Princess Ann's congratulations for charity work with Save the Children. My partner and I have been eating here for the past 5 years. The food has always been great no matter what we've ordered from the vast menu. Abdul and the gang are very hospitable and friendly, and always say hello if we're just walking past.

Let's just say fresh and on point. Been ordering home for few years now, after having tried so many other places, as a family this is the place for good curry and top service.
First time we actually went to dine there last week and the service was spectacular.
We finished it with a lovly ice-cream dessert.

I visited this lovely restaurant completely by chance with my daughters. We were all blown away by the delicious food and fantastic customer service we recieved.
The restaurant staff are all very welcoming and the food was amazing!
I'm glad I now know of this place and I will definitely be ordering from them in future.
I highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Such a good Indian restaurant. Not your average suburban Indian eatery: the food is incredible with the Kashmiri (banana) curry being a particular favourite - it sounds odd but trust me it’s creamy and lovely and will speak to your soul. They always have terrific service and every dish is prepared to mouth-watering perfection.

Taste of Nawab has been our favourite Indian restaurant for over 20 years. The food is always extremely delicious and we love it there. The restaurant is also amazing for takeaway - the delivery is quick and the food is always hot when we receive it. I recommend it to everyone - it really is excellent. Keep up the good work, Abdul and your fantastic team!

We've ordered a number of times now from Taste of Nawab and without a doubt the best tasting Bangladeshi (Indian) dishes. Great friendly service every time too. That's compared to a number of places we've tried in London and parts of the UK, plus other countries. The only other that compares in our view is in southern Sweden, if you happen to be in the area! So glad we tried this place out! The staff are polite and restaurant itself is nice and the food delicious! We went for the lamb chops and samosa for starters and Marrango prawns, Makhani lamb and special fried rice for main with Mango Lassi and Banana Lassi. The food was quick and service excellent. Thank you Taste of Nawab we will be back soon in shaa Allah

The food at this restaurant is out of this world!!
The food and service is exceptional, exciting and always leaving you wanting more. At Indian restaurants I typically only get the same 5 things, but here it has pushed me to try more food as the balance of flavours build and unfurl after tucking into the imaginative presentation. This is a rare find and I could not rate it more highly as there are so many restaurants, you never know a good one unless you actually eat there, and this place is a cut above the rest.
I would thoroughly recommend eating here as even if it was not my local, I'd travel

Absolutely amazing food! 😍 Fresh authentic tastes, rich flavours and perfectly balanced spices. Generous succulent chunks of meat and some really nice vegetarian healthy dishes for a bit of balance to a meal. Oh my lawd the crisp, fresh, fragrant samosas and peshwari naan are OFF THE HOOK ❣️ So beautiful. This is a gem💎 Really competitive prices for good portions. I had take away from here three nights last week 😅 My new favourite flavours!

Having read through a number of reviews, this place was rated as being one the highest ranked so two friends and I took a trip there to see what the big deal was. I must say the hospitality was great. As soon as we got in, we were welcomed in politely with a smile. The owner approached us and made conversation which you don't often get in places. There was a good sense of place there. Equally the food was pretty good. One of the chicken dishes tasted burnt/charcoal like but it is an acquired taste. Other then that, it's a fantastic local Indian. Price wise it's a little bit strap

Just SUPERB!
We have been going here for 15years and even though we moved out of Muswell Hill we keep coming back as it's 2nd to none. Just had Abdul cater for 2 parties of ours and he was punctual and pleasant as ever the food was outstanding and our guest kept coming back for more. All this for such a reasonable price too.
