Services
Little Hubber's Day Nursery North Shields believes children will thrive best in a fun, caring and enjoyable environment where they should be given first hand real experiences and resources that are stimulating for them to experiment, explore, and learn to be independent. Child care at Little Hubber's Day Nursery is exceptional, fun and varied.
An admin charge of 30.00 is required to provisionally book your child's place at Little Hubbers. This fee is used to purchase learning journals, diaries and trackers for your child and admin costs setting up children's portals and cohorts. All settling in sessions are included within this fee.
Once you are offered a place for your child at the nursery we require a deposit of 100 per child ( 50 for funded children), which is refundable when your child leaves the nursery provided a month's written notice is received.Should a place be cancelled with less than one month's notice once it has been offered and accepted, the whole amount shall be retained by us.

Here at Little Hubbers Day Nursery North Shields we recommend a settling in period for children starting at Little Hubbers. This will be arranged in consultation with parents that allows exchange of information that will support each individual child.

At Little Hubber's Day Nursery North Shields it is very important to us that all children get outside every single day. Child care and looking after your children is paramount and we feel outdoor fun is imperative to grow and thrive. Our trips out include visits to the beach, fish quay for chips and to feed the seagulls, walks along the marina and our beautiful coast line.
We hope that all parents can be confident that we are offering your child a wide variety of high quality food. We are keen to introduce children to different religious and cultural festivals through different types of food and drink. No child will be forced to eat or drink anything against their will and food will not be used as a reward or punishment.

Little hubbers is the best nursery around the staff all have amazing bonds with all the children. My child loves going always has an amazing day and has so much fun. I have and would recommend little hubbers to anyone looking for a nursery that goes above and beyond to make your child’s time the best possible. Amanda personally takes it upon herself to guarantee that you as a parent are always in the loop with what happens at nursery how your child is and how they develop while there.

Issac has been going to this nursery for around 10 months now. I am a keyworker so relied very much on them being able to meet my working needs.
It's been lovely to see them grow and expand over this time, opening up the lower floor to create more spaces and now with all the lovely new classes and session they are running.
This really is a lovely nursery and all the staff are kind and caring. I love seeing all the daily updates and the pictures of the children having fun.

All the staff at Little Hubbers are so welcoming and great at what they do! My little one isn’t the best at leaving us to go to nursery but all the staff do a brill job with calming him down so he ends up having the best day of playing! Alongside this, the staff are really good with communicating via messaging/texts/phone to put my mind at ease as well! Seeing the uploaded photos to the Facebook page of our little one playing at nursery throughout the day really helps with parents who are nervous at leaving their babies with someone else for the day.

I absolutely adore little hubbers my girl has been going a little over a year now, Amanda and her team have bent over backwards to accommodate my little one and my busy unpredictable work. My little girl loves going to little hubbers the staff are all amazing and very creative, there is always something new to explore. I wish I could join in! Keep doing what your doing girls!

I took my little one to have a look around on Thursday and was blown away with how lovely this nursery is going to be. Love the child led ethos, its all about play which is how is should be for little ones.
The setting is well laid out and full to the brim with resources. Very excited.
The lady showing me around was lovely, very helpful and calming. I am very reassured my little one will be well looked after at Little Hubbers.

So glad we decided to change to Little Hubbers as the nursery choice for our little girl. This new nursery is amazing! They go out everyday, the activities they do are great and interactive. The equipment they have is second to none and the way they have the nursery laid out is great for all ages. My little girl was a little upset when she first went as it was new but without having to check up, I got updates from the girls which is great. I know who her key worker is which is a big thing for me. Keep up the great work 💕

Had a dab time at the open day. The children had loads to do and really enjoyed playing with the other children. There was a wealth of learning materials and the ethos of child first us fantastic. Meeting the staff all dedicated to their task assured me the my child would be happy at Little Hubbers Day Nursery - can wait!!
