Services
We're a modern, purpose-built nursery specifically designed to accommodate up to 72 children at any one time. Based in Tynemouth, North Tyneside, Kinder Castle provides a safe and nurturing environment where your child's needs and development are at the heart of everything we do. We go above and beyond to make sure each and every family feels content and confident leaving their child in our care.
At Kinder Castle we have a dedicated, friendly team who work closely and cohesively together, day in day out. Lucy is the managing director and owner of Kinder Castle. Working as a child psychologist for 13 years, Lucy realised exactly what kind of environment children thrive in - one that's home from home, loving and helps children reach their fullest potential.
Kinder Castle has five main rooms that cater for dedicated age groups from birth to school age. The nursery has two outdoor areas providing opportunities to further enhance children's play experiences. We have also created our own sensory den which provides a calming and relaxing environment to enhance learning from hands on activities that stimulate children's senses.
We follow the 'Eat Better, Start Better' programme to ensure we offer a nutritious healthy balanced diet to all children. Meal times are a sociable experience for children to enjoy together. Whether your child can feed themselves or needs a helping hand, staff will always be there to offer encouragement and support.
We provide a range of opportunities and interactive experiences to support and enhance your child's development. At Kinder Castle we are committed to providing your child with new experiences that challenge and build upon developing skills. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS) which is published as guidance for practitioners working with children aged from birth to five.
