We are a highly aspirational, caring and welcoming school for children aged 4 - 11 located in Yate, South Gloucestershire. We have excellent facilities including a newly refurbished building, an extensive amount of land inclusive of playing fields, sporting areas and multiple playgrounds.

We pride ourselves on our unapologetic high standards irrespective of prior attainment, background or SEND and are committed to ensuring all pupils have the best chance of success. We are a proud member of the Greenshaw Learning Trust, a 'family' of like-minded schools, that collaborate to provide mutual support, share their good practice and learn from each other, whilst retaining and developing their own distinctive character.
Services
All staff at Tyndale Primary are committed to giving every child that attends Tyndale Primary the best chance of success irrespective of background, prior attainment or SEND. To allow for this to happen, classrooms at Tyndale Primary will be entirely disruption free, allowing teachers their right to teach and pupils their right to learn.
Our ethos derives from our simplistic belief that every pupil has the right to learn and every teacher has the right to teach. Tyndale Primary is a highly aspirational school and has a commitment to ensure that every pupil is provided with "the best chance of success", to enable a future of endless learning opportunities and limitless aspirations irrespective of background, prior attainment or SEND.
Although we often run tours of the academy during term-time, an appointment is not necessary, we would welcome you at anytime to have a look around the school. Please pay careful attention to the South Gloucestershire Local Authority's applications deadlines, usually around mid -January, as late applications cannot always be considered.
The Greenshaw Learning Trust is a charitable company, limited by guarantee, with the sole purpose of maintaining and developing academy schools to provide comprehensive and inclusive education for the public benefit. You can find out more about the governance of the trust on the trust website here.
At Tyndale Primary School, we prioritise developing an embedded culture which fosters a love of reading. Teaching a child to read is our primary focus in order to open the doors of learning which books offer. Reading has now become a core part of everyday life at Tyndale. Our unique and inspiring reading programme gives our pupils the opportunity to read classic literature every day.
