I have photographed several weddings at beautiful Shendish Manor. The grounds and the manor itself are are perfect backdrop for wedding & event photography. The beautiful garden building where summer weddings are held is absolutely beautiful-paticularly when the wisteria is out. Extensive grounds and the staff are always helpful and curtious. Went for work Christmas doo the other evening. Everything seemed okay, nothing fabulous but was pleasant. The food was okay, the atmosphere was okay. One man serving behind the bar was pretty rude at one point. I asked for a G&T and he had asked me a question about the tonic water which I misheard due to the volume in the room being loud, to which when I asked about my tonic water, he abruptly said "I already asked you that and you didn't say anything! Are you drunk already!?" Thankfully, he didn't serve me again or else I probably would have been asked to leave due to the nature of how rude he

The hotel is fraying a little at the edges; hole in the ceiling in the hallway, the shower head wouldn't stay put, the aircon/ heating didn't work, but... there was a heater in the room and every member of staff were friendly and want to help, the food from the restaurant was very good and the hotel and rooms are clean. The grounds that the hotel are in contains a golf course, so feels really rural. Happily recommend and will return.

Stayed in one of the big rooms, it was so nice spacious and lovely. Great staffs as well. But it was tricky to connect our devices to TV and the hotel could do some refurbishment (walls, carpets etc)

We paid £80 a night for two course dinner bed and breakfast. So I'll base my findings on the cost. Room was quite good, comfy bed. Breakfast plentiful but Cooke breakfast on a buffet a bit cold. Dinner was very nice though. All in all I'd recommend at those prices.

Went here for afternoon tea, when lockdown was lifted in the U.K.

Very good social distancing, everyone was wearing masks, felt safe with the generous distance between the tables. Staff were attentive to dietary requirements. For the afternoon tea they require a deposit during booking. (Advice is to book your afternoon tea well ahead of time, with your set dietary requirements so they can accommodate for this beforehand).

We went during Christmas, so the afternoon tea was composed for the season. This consisted of seasonal sandwiches, seasonal cakes and treats. Very generous portions for the
