Was a solo, 20 yr old female guest and felt really safe during my stay. Plenty of parking for cars. Super accommodating to my needs and let me check in early. Really friendly staff, there was a power cut for half an hour but they kept everyone informed and sorted it quickly. Room was spotless with plenty of towels and great blackout curtains. Will definitely be returning!!

I confess some of the reviews made me wonder if I'd done the right thing with this booking, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived. My room was clean and well-decorated. If the weather had been nicer I could have used the seating area outside the room.
I asked for dairy-free lunches and these were provided without any issues at all. The chef was available every day to tell me which lunches were suitable for me. Evening meals were good, especially given the current supply-chain issues.

Went to a colleague reception. Perfect night. If there was one smaller criticism was the food for us evening guests. We were asked about dietary requirements but that didn't happen. They just put snack type foods very late. And because of the day running late there was no where to sit. Place was awful to find with the post code given. The actual do was the best I have been.

Hotel in nice settings - very rural and quiet. Quite ok. Room was good and quite clean. Bathroom on the shabby side but clean. Needs TLC. Food good but service terrible. Had to wait 40 minutes until we were asked what we wanted to eat. If there had been a different restaurant or pub near-by we would have gone elsewhere. Also got some trouble paying with Maestro Card.

Downside was the room... and the whole hotel wasn't the cleanest. Our room had many cobwebs and spiders and we asked for it to be cleaned twice but nothing was done. Loads of doors and windows are left open indefinitely so many bugs get in.

Had our wedding here and omg was just simply amazing. For 3 years I planned for the day and it went so smoothly. Ellie and Luke where just fabulous people and so professional throughout the day. There was nothing they didn't do for us. Kept us updated the whole way through the room and tables where stunning all my guests said how amazing it was. If you are thinking about having you're wedding their do not hesitate! Again Ellie and Luke thank you for making our day the best xx

I chose this hotel as it was part of a red letter deal, it wasn't too far from home and a treat for my son. Its a lovely looking hotel, the front is warm and welcoming and the staff are friendly, pleasant and welcoming too. We had a small room that had a bed, shower and tea making facilities which was ideal. We had a meal voucher for the first night and I had the steak and my son had the burger which was extremely tasty. A good night sleep, it was so quiet.
