We provide excellent care for children aged 3 months to 5 years old, in a safe, secure and stimulating 'home-from-home' environment. Moon River Nursery is influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach, which means that children are seen as curious individuals who can lead their learning through their interests. The environment, the practitioner and the family all have a vital part to play in supporting the children's growth.

About me: When I am not at nursery I enjoy finding the magic in everything! I love autumnal walks by my house, in the Forest of Dean with my Puppy, Merlin and then snuggling up on the sofa with a hot chocolate and Disney Plus! About me: When I am not at nursery I enjoy spending quality time with my two daughters, watching my eldest daughter play hockey on a Sunday morning and teaching them about our Hindu roots and culture.
Through our Reggio Emilia approach we put the children in the driver's seat of their learning, by allowing them to be curious individuals with the power and potential to develop and learn from their environment and the relationships they build with others. Children are encouraged to share and demonstrate through their ideas, thoughts and feelings.
Children at Moon River Nursery follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework within which our wide range of activities are designed to ensure every child's learning experience is tailored to them as an individual. Children benefit from being placed in dedicated rooms according to their age and stage of development.
We believe that all mealtimes should be happy and sociable occasions between children and staff. We are fully committed to offering children healthy and balanced meals and snacks which meet the individual's needs and requirements. The menus have a basic weekly structure which includes food from different cultures.
