Our school motto, 'I am talented, together we are amazing!' gives you a flavour of our school's aims.
We were successful in renewing the Food for Life award and was presented the award by Jeanette Orrey. Haydonleigh school has recently achieved the Gold Award. Through the scheme, children develop their awareness of where food comes from, gardening skills, cooking skills and knowledge of farms. We work towards serving healthy school meals and much more.
A child has special educational needs if he or she has a learning difficulty, which calls for special educational provision to be made for them. Haydonleigh Primary School is committed to inclusion, ensuring all pupils are given the support they need to fulfil their full potential. They should be equally valued and be fully included in aspects of school life.
Are continuing to commit a large proportion of the funding into CPD as it is essential we create a sustainable model in preparation for post 'Sport Premium' funding era. This will involve bringing in PE specialists to work alongside teachers to improve their teaching and improving our current provision of PE in areas identified.
Our school is committed to working in partnership. We aim for pupils, parents, guardians and staff to share our school values of creativity, respect, responsibility, enthusiasm and unity. We believe in nurturing individual skills and working in partnership to enable everyone to meet their full potential.

My family would like to thank Haydonleigh for everything they have done/doing during the pandemic. We have been so impressed with the way the school has handled communications, support and curriculum material. I have personally felt supported by my child’s year group/head mistress and not felt pressured to do anything outside my work-life capacity. Keep up the hard work all, you are doing a great job. So glad we made the right choice with Haydonleigh 2 years ago! 🏫
