Both in its food and decor, the Restaurant offers a sophisticated yet relaxed approach to dining. About us Report

This "Building of Local Interest" dates back to 1812, and in the past has been mainly used as a Public House. The building has been restored to an exceptionally high standard. After extensive travels and fifteen years experience in the restaurant trade, Saji and his family have brought a fine dining experience to Gateshead.

This is possibly the best Indian restaurant I have ever eaten in. I go here every time I'm in the North East (which is at least one a month) and take colleagues here, who also think the food is amazing.
Always great food.
I cannot recommend Saji's enough!

It was myself and my fiancés first time coming to this Restraunt. The food was absolutely delicious the breads were beautifully cooked and hot when fetched to the table. Everything tasted so fresh. The staff are lovely and friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be going there again.

Amazing curry, we had a mixture of vegetarian/chicken/cheese/lamb. Everything was delicious and the naan was so fresh I can't fault it! Will definitely be back.

Lovely staff and family run go that bit extra for you.Nice quality food at great service.
