After visiting at least 10 other shops who all said it couldn't be done or they'd have to alter the structure / stability of my engagement ring I finally found Classic Diamonds. They were the only shop to think 'how can it be done' rather than it can't be and try to sell me something else.

Classic Diamonds is a family owned business which was established over 50 years ago in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. We specialise in the manufacture and retail of diamond set jewellery and certificated diamond rings. We also carry large stocks of platinum and 18ct gold wedding bands. We have large stocks of IGI and GIA certified stones in all combinations of colours, clarities and carat weights.

The after sales service you will receive will be the same as if you had purchased in store. Having our store located in the heart of Birmingham's jewellery quarter, we have the luxury of a workshop offering jewellery polishing, sizing and repairs.
Who is this diamond certified by? This is a common question we get asked. All of our solitaire engagement rings have certified diamonds, these will be certified by either GIA (Gemological Institute of America), IGI (International Gemological Institute) or HRD (HRD Antwerp Institute of Gemmology).
Usually only solitaire engagement rings are certified, however we at Classic Diamonds do our up most to help you feel comfortable when making such an important purchase, so in this instance we can/do set certified diamonds into a 3 stone engagement ring, and this is also available with 5 stone and 7 stone rings.Just get in touch with us to discuss further and we will give you our expert opinion on what is best for you.

I’ve recently had the pleasure of using Classic Diamonds for a diamond engagement ring repair. The ring was damaged and diamond lost. Classic Diamonds were easy to deal with and very knowledgeable staff and brilliant customer service throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and my options on repair fully explained and wide variety of replacement… diamonds to choose from. My husband and I had our wedding rings made with classic diamonds 4 years ago. We traveled from Bournemouth to the jewellery quarters in Birmingham, classic diamonds is such a pretty little shop and as soon as we walked in the people were so pleasant. The jewellery was so beautiful and we knew what we wanted almost straight away. we hope to return one day for maybe another piece of beautiful jewellery. Thank you.

Another fabulous experience at classic diamonds. Wedding rings chosen, ordered and paid for in about 10 minutes. The salesman listened to what we wanted, made a few suggestions but no hard sale. Perfect! The quality of their stock speaks for itself. lovely staff. Big thumbs up from the future Megarry-Jones'!

We bought my engagement ring and both of our wedding rings from Jon at Classic Diamonds and I couldn’t recommend highly enough. None of the three rings were “off the peg”....we wanted changes to all of them and… selected our own diamond for the engagement ring. Absolutely delighted with the results and will definitely be back for my eternity ring
