Tucked away in a workshop, Lora Leedham creates beautifully handcrafted jewellery in the heart of Birmingham's Historic Jewellery Quarter. With over 10 years' experience of creating bespoke handcrafted jewellery, Lora is also a fully qualified gemmologist, enabling her not only to ethically source certificated diamonds and coloured stones, but offer advice on choosing the perfect stone for your special piece.
Some engagement rings will be shaped and not have a flat edge where a straight edged wedding band can sit comfortably. The best option for a shaped engagement ring is to have a shape-to-fit wedding ring. You can visit the workshop with your engagement ring and Lora can usually make a wax model the same day so that you are not without your engagement ring and you will also be able to see the unique design as a 3D wax model first.
All of the jewellery here at Lora Leedham is made as part of a bespoke service. Jewellery is very personal and a reflection of individual style and so each piece is created with the customer in mind.
With all designs, they are made to measure and you are able to customise metal types, stones, widths, shapes and sizes, or you can visit the workshop and work with Lora to design a piece from scratch or to develop a design which you have a clear vision of.Guided by your preferences and budget, Lora is able to select diamonds and gemstones that will meet your requirements.

Your own sentimental pieces can be remodelled into a brand new design while holding onto the original sentiment. Stones can be removed and cleaned and re-set into a new design and metals can be melted and re-shaped. Old jewellery which is sitting in your jewellery box, not being loved or worn can be remodelled into a new piece which you can wear and love.

Lora did an absolutely amazing job of remodelling some of my Nan’s jewellery that I was left when she died. She was so thoughtful and guided me through the best choices to make sure I could wear them every day without damaging the stones or the metals in their new design. I’m over the moon and can’t stop looking at them. So nice to be able to wear such beautiful jewels and think of my Nan every time! Thank you Lora x

I'm absolutely delighted with my new ring designed in collaboration with Lora. I had wanted to use my original wedding and engagement ring, along with some other family jewellery to create something individual to me and Lora came up trumps! She understood perfectly my brief and guided my ideas to something workable and very special. Lora was a delight to work with and I left every meeting with her excited to see the end result.
I couldn't believe what a beautiful job Lora had done when I went to collect it on my birthday ( she made the deadline as promised).

I needed a design made with little time to spare. Within less than a week! Lora understood the need and urgency and she was able to help us. She made the ring to the exact specifications with an immaculate finish. Not to mention she's so helpful and welcoming, which adds such a special touch to buying her jewellery. Lora is an amazingly talented jeweler! She remodeled a ring for me for my fiancé and everything worked out wonderfully. She helped design and remodel it just as I asked and the results were stunning! She has excellent communication and customer care, making sure that everything was just right and that any problems were solved quickly and easily! Would highly recommend her as a jeweler!
