Services
Awarding winning, Susan Long Sculpture, specially selected a wide range of plants that were displayed alongside her stunning pieces and we were all delighted with the result. The exhibit was awarded Five Gold Stars. The Flower Pot Nursery is a local family run business that has been located on the outskirts of Royal Tunbridge Wells for over ten years.
Having done much research on these beautiful trees, Flower Pot Nursery now offer Ilex Crenata in various sizes to suit your requirements and budget, and we are one of only a couple of nurseries offering Ilex Crenata in Sussex, Surrey and Kent. The nursery is also delighted at being able to offer Japanese Niwaki.
Euonymus Frames provide an idea screen for restricted areas, or for someone who wants an attractive evergreen barrier without having the bulk and maintenance of hedging or shrubs. As an alternative, Photinia is a popular evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves, white flowers in flattened flowerheads and young red shoots, which can make a very attractive screen.
Olives (Olea europaea) are evergreen trees that will add a Mediterranean touch to the garden. They are suited to garden or container cultivation, and may produce fruit in mild regions and warm summers in the UK. If you have a protected city garden or live in a mild area, olives can be grown outdoors as long as you give them a sunny position and plant them in well-drained soil, for example, against a warm wall would be ideal.
Flower Pot Nursery are one of the largest stockists of topiary in the Tunbridge Wells area, and offer all shapes and sizes ranging from 15-20cm Buxus Balls up to 120cm balls (upon request). Spirals, Egyptian Pyramids, Lollipops, Bay Trees and Olive Tree standards are also extremely popular. Flower Pot Nurseries also carry stock of Bonsai Trees in tree form and cloud, with trees in excess of 60 years old.

Lovely quality plants and helpful, knowledgeable staff. I have bought a number of plants including an Olive tree and Laurel hedging, all nice healthy specimens that have grown well in our garden. Purchased 2 Christmas trees in Dec ‘19 - sustainably farmed in Scotland. Beautiful fresh trees that have not dropped any needles so far! Will buy from Flowerpot again next year. Great local business.

Had an amazing experience with flower Pot Nursery. I do not live locally to the nursery but found what I wanted online. I called them to discuss what I wanted. They were really helpful and helped me place my order. Items were dispatched and received when advised. Very happy with my purchases and the experience I have had with Flower Pot Nursery. Friendly enough upon purchasing but terrible after sales service. I showed photos to another retailer of the issues I had a few weeks after purchasing plants from Flowerpot Nursery. They instantly apologised and offered to refund before I explained they had not been bought there. Big contrast to the response I received from Flowerpot Nursery.
