We are a large, three-form entry school in the Selhurst area of Croydon, with a modern building and fantastic grounds. We have amazing children and a large team of staff who work together to ensure that everyone is equipped with the skills they need to succeed.

You will find lots of information about us on this website, what we believe, how we do things, and the journey we are making, but you won't find everything, so get in touch or come and visit. We are committed to children's excellence, being the best they can be and learning the skills they need to succeed.
Services
The Crescent Primary School is situated in a beautiful, historic building spanning over a century. However, due to the outbreak of World War One the school was requisitioned after only a year for use as a war hospital in 1915. We have three historic plaques in school, recording the names of former pupils who died in World War I and World War II.
When can my reception child start school full time? After the reception childrens first week at school all children can come to school full time (8:45am-3:00pm). During the first week after the summer holidays all children will be visited at home by their class teacher and teaching assistant. The second week of term will give all children the opportunity to spend some time in school every day.
Educate & Celebrate is an Ofsted and DFE recognised Best Practice Programme that gives staff, students, parents and governors the confidence and strategies to implement an LGBT+Inclusive curriculum to successfully eradicate homophobia, biphobia and transphobia from our schools and communities.

Focusing on 5 core areas, the best practice programme invites teachers, students, parents and governors to partake in whole school change through training, policy, curriculum, community and environment giving opportunities to reflect upon their experiences.
Our school uses a more convenient way to pay for school meals, trips and breakfast/after school clubs online, using a secure service called ParentPay. ParentPay is used at the school; no cash or cheque payments will be accepted, making the school a cash-free environment. Parents who need to continue making payments by cash may do so using the PayPoint network at local convenience stores.
From Year 1 to Year 6, there are 2 children in each class who share ideas with Miss Dolan during a monthly School Council meeting. As a member of school council we expect the representatives to be kind, respectful and honest all of the time. They are model pupils who can be relied upon to always do the right thing.
