We hope you have all had an enjoyable summer. The weather has not been the best for August, but we hope you managed to get out and about and enjoy time with your family and friends. As our newsletter at the end of last term stated, we are remaining on staggered start and finish times, in order to ease congestion around the premises.

Rabbsfarm is a large, popular school, with approximately 515 pupils. The pupils and families who attend Rabbsfarm reflect the diversity of Yiewsley and West Drayton with a variety of languages, cultures and backgrounds represented here. The growth in our school numbers reflects the quality of education we provide.
We are proud of our high standards of behaviour. Children work and behave in a calm way, which is essential for maximising their learning and for children to feel happy at school. Our behaviour policy is based on mutual respect with an emphasis on praising and valuing good behaviour. We have members of staff whose role is to ensure that any behavioural incidents are dealt with quickly and effectively.

The school was originally built by Trys of Uxbridge and was identical in design to three other schools built in the Borough during that time. Originally built as 'open plan' with no dividing walls inside the building, the school has gone through major changes over the years.
As the school population increased, the main building was remodelled so that each classroom became self-contained and the main building was expanded to include a new classroom in 2000.Four mobile buildings were added, two in 1990 one in 1997 and a fourth in 2010. In 1981 the school Nursery was built at the entrance to the school.
