As the name suggests this was once home to the local bakery in Overstrand - now it is a spacious holiday home suitable for couples and smaller families. Situated in a sunny courtyard garden shared with Hardys cottage and well placed for both the beach and shops The Old Bakehouse has been lovingly converted into a roomy retreat, all on the ground floor, in a real gem of a seaside location.
Sharing the sunny courtyard with The Old Bakehouse is the equally delightful Hardy's Cottage - named for the previous owner who lived here for many years - is suitable for both couples and young families. Pleasantly situated in the heart of the fishing village of Overstrand Hardy's cottage is only a few minutes' walk from the beach - making it an ideal location for both seaside holidays or a quiet few days away.
A large Victorian hall entrance terrace, standing in an elegant row, in the heart of Overstrand Forsythia house provides luxury accommodation for larger families or groups. Conveniently located with the attractive water gardens opposite and a mere four minutes walk from the beach this is a splendid example of premier holiday accommodation.
Built in the traditional brick and flint style of many old Norfolk coastal properties Rectory cottage dates back to at least the 1800's - consequently, some of our taller guests might find the ceilings and doors a little lower than they may be used to! That said, visitors love this cosy cottage with its warm and welcoming atmosphere.
