Fielding Cottage has been making award winning goats cheese since 2009, from humble beginnings Sam (the founder) used to make cheese in his kitchen sink, after hand milking his herd of just five goats, the cheese was then sold at farmers markets throughout Norfolk.

Our cheese is now made weekly in our purpose-built cheese facility (the small green barn by our farm-shop) by our team of passionate cheese makers, we know its corny but they are crackers about cheese!
For us it all started with a bar of goats milk soap, a gift from a friend. That creamy bar of soap gave us the idea to offer Fielding Cottage goats milk skin care products. Our goats milk soap and goats milk hand and body lotions are now extremely popular. Our Goats Milk Hand & Body Lotion has also been Commended in the FreeFrom Skincare Awards 2014.
We would love to hear from you if you have any questions about our products, our accommodation, or anything else Fielding Cottage. Do get in touch. Take the A47 towards Dereham. After the Easton roundabout, the road becomes single carriageway. Continue on the A47 to the next (Mattishall) roundabout.

Visited in September. Really enjoyed the Goat Shed Cafe and then went for a browse in the Farm Shop. Very nicely laid out. Bought a couple items - a plain pork pie for £3.00 and some cheese straws for £2.25. Very disappointed with both. The pork pie was dry. There was no jelly around the filling, which was as dry as dust. As for the cheese straws - actually cheese twists - flaccid and not at all cheesy. Won't be purchasing either ever again! So only 2 stars from me.

Lovely shop, well laid out and with an excellent selection of local produce. The Broadland Yarn cheese made there is delicious. Will definitely be returning!

Local to me so just went to see what all the fuss was about. Cafe is ok coffee was as it should be but the food is just ok and expensive for what it is.
Nice place for a treat but prices are high for the standard of product.
Good place to cycle or walk to also plenty of parking.

First time visit and have to say, very impressed by this venue. Nestled away down a quaint Norfolk lane, this stunning new ‘barn’ offers an attractive wide range of products, produce and a tantalisingly array of items from its cafe menu also.
There is plenty of space, so you feel Covid safe, there is a large outdoor seating area and a huge pizza oven for when, as I’m told, they host pizza evenings!?!?
All in all an easy recommendation to visitors and local alike. Just be mindful of other cars on the lane and don’t be afraid to go up the verge of you meet a stubborn driver coming towards
