The Smith family and staff aim to provide a pleasant and friendly atmosphere to all guests during their stay. The Broadacre is situated in a quiet street parallel to the high street of New Romney. Originally built as a farmhouse, the main entrance and six of the nine bedrooms are believed to have been built in the 17th Century.

The remaining three bedrooms, in a converted cottage date from the 1860's. Once known as The Gables, it was previously a country club, before becoming a hotel and reclassified as a 4 Star bed & breakfast Guest Accomodation as assessed by the Quality In Tourism of Visit England. The single storey addition added early in the 20th century was an estate agents, this is now the bar.

The cottage rooms are on the ground floor and may suit guests with mobility difficulties, each of these rooms has its own exterior door. Such a beautiful quirky little place. The staff are super friendly, work beyond expectations, and are the most helpful. The rooms are gorgeous, just the right size for a stay, and the food is really tasty. The location is also fab, with not far a walk to the bus stop, local shops such as spar or sainsburys, and there is a bar attached to the b&b with a really friendly barmaid, and a variety of drinks. Would highly recommend staying here for a trip away, or even if you have business in the area.

Lovely B&B, good location and decent parking. The building itself is well laid out with a nice bar and lovely, well maintained and spacious gardens.
The facilities are clean and the rooms comfortable, in keeping with a historic building. En suite was clean and well presented. Our room (5) had a good TV and tea and coffee facilities.
Breakfast was very nice with a good choice of cooked options and cereals.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. It was an absolute pleasure to chat to them during our stay.
Our stay was very reasonably priced and it felt like great value

Broadacre is a great place to stay. I stayed in a room over looking wonderful gardens. Room was extremely clean and pleasant. Allowed me to stay longer as my flight was not until after check out time. All social distancing adhered. Breakfast as always perfect and good value. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing place. Cleanliness as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Bed is nice and comfy. Heating system is amazing. Just a small thing if you are used to power shower then these showers will be a bit on slower side and that is the only thing if yoi view it critically. Apart from it the customer service is at best and breakfast is delicious with plenty of options. Will definitely recommended it
