Services
From Chester take the A55 Expressway following the signs for Bangor. Leave the Expressway at the A5 junction signposted to Bangor & Betws y Coed and the brown Tourist sign marked Llanberis. Turn left towards Betws y Coed but almost immediately prepare to turn right onto the B4366. Keep on this road for 4 miles and turn left at the roundabout onto the B4547 for a further 4 miles to a T junction with the A4086.

We can't quite make it as cosy as your bedroom at home - but we do try our best! The Royal Victoria Hotel can offer you total flexibility in planning and budgeting for your conference. We cater for events from 2 to 90, with rooms suitable for layouts such as U-Shape, Theatre, Classroom, Boardroom, Cabaret and Receptions. Our largest function suites are ideal to host training days, exhibitions and active away days.
Our aim is to get it right first time, every time from your initial enquiry, throughout the vital planning stages right up to the day of your event to a successful conclusion. Conference and meeting rooms will be fully set up and working in accordance with your specified requirements 30 minutes before your start time.
We wish to offer our many thanks to our guests who take time to write to us with their compliments of their corporate or social event. It keeps us truly motivated and grateful that you choose to work with us and we look forward to all our guests returning in the future. We had over 90 people present with 36 staying at the hotel and another 25 staying elsewhere, but joining us for dinner, and for the entertainment in restaurant in the evenings.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings staff friendly breakfast good could do with room service opening later than 8.45 at night as didn't get there till about 9 so no food available which was a shame as we had too hunt round the town late at night for something too eat surely they could stay open later after bar and restaurant stop serving at least for a sandwich ??? Would have saved us the hassle of walking round in an unfamiliar place tired and hungry! Also they could do with some kind of cold drinks machine maybe were the snooker table is could have done with a bottle of cold water or coke

Whilst our stay in Llanberis we decided to treat ourselves to some good food. We visited the hotel restaurant and ordered the beef burger, as well as mash potato and stake and ale pie.
The beef burger was delicious, the burger itself was small in circumference but really fat in height. It was very juicy and flavourful. The bread was a little tough, something I've found common in Wales throughout our time away.
The stake and ale pie was cooked amazingly, the pastry was a little different, more like a pastry from a vanilla slice but the stake was to die for. The mash potato was also surprisingly

What was the hottest week of the year we found a big room but no air con, we had a small desk fan placed on a table to help keep us cool . We asked could we have a drink in the garden at 14;00 only to be told that the bar didn’t open till 15:00 so we asked for room service for a coffee we were told no till after 15:00 so we had to walk to the local
Shop to get drinks !!! ….
Room service was poor they charged 4:00 for 3 sandwiches that were stale bread we were told room service was till 11:00pm but was told it stopped at 8;30 pm hence no chips we could have.

A nice relaxing break at the beer garden here was a fantastic end to our Mt Snowdon hike. We happened upon the Royal Victoria Hotel and nearly crashed a both a wedding reception and kid's birthday. The kiddie party provided us with entertainment with a bouncy castle and whatnot. The beer was cold and well kept and the real live garden was really lovely. No complaints.

My kind of place. Once you enter you can't tell if you're in the 1930s, '60s or the '90s. Large, vaguely Kubrick/The Shining-esque. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the area. Great location at the top of the valley, pretty grounds (ask about the hike to the castle). Classic, clean, reasonable rates.

We went to snowdon for a weekends camping and decided to treat ourselves on the last night and go here.Everything about the hotel was ok. We had a basic but very clean room. It was en suite and we also had breakfast which again was ok without being that memerable. I did find the staff very friendly though and they had lots of advice on some of the things to do around the area. The area itself is very nice but I think it is mainly for people who want to do walking (me) and those wanting to do other outside activities, there is a lot of rock climbing in the area.
