All of the staff at KDN would like to send everybody best wishes during this difficult period. We are able to offer virtual "show arounds" or after hours appointments whilst implementing the social distancing required. If you would like more information please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
In addition we are also increasing our existing discounts to include all Teachers and NHS workers, for more information, again, please contact us. We not only provide the highest standard of nursery care and education, but also a unique environment that creates a warm home from home feel. They actively encourage children to explore learn and interact with others in a safe and stimulating environment.

Services
We are privileged to be situated in the heart of Knutsford, within a short walk to Knutsford Train Station, Library, Tatton Park, local shops and the Mere. We have successfully adapted that belief transferring it to the 20th century. Today the Old Library has been successfully converted to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment enabling children to reach their full potential in life.
One of our many strengths is that we endeavor to maintain consistency of staff in each room so that close bonds are formed by all the staff with each child. The size of the nursery allows "all the staff to know all of the children". Each child is assigned a key person who has the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that they cherish and consider each child that they are the key worker for.
The baby room staff encourage children to learn and develop at their own pace. Within the baby room, there is plenty of space for physical development with our soft play gym equipment. At this age children are naturally inquisitive and eager to participate in new and exciting activities. We encourage this by providing just the right amount of resources and learning activities so that children can learn through play and discovery.
Teaching and supporting children about being healthy is embedded in the routine and the curriculum at nursery. Every opportunity is taken to talk about and demonstrate healthy choices and to encourage children to eat well and learn about food. Fresh air, lots of active play and learning, healthy meals and snacks and plenty of encouragement to drink water throughout the day are just some of the simple ways we do this.

This is an exceptional nursery with such friendly, warm and devoted carers. My girls have been really happy here and I have been so impressed by the care they received. KDN have nurtured my babies to confident little girls ready for school. We're really going to miss nursery not being part of our lives and the funny little stories they used to tell me on the way home. Thank you so much for the last five years and for a fab day at Chester zoo, Rosie loved it! X

I would recommend Knutsford Day Nursery to anyone, I took my son there after a terrible experience at another Preschool in Knutsford which resulted in him not being safe and his confidence at rock bottom.
After only a few weeks the nurturing staff in rising 5's had brought him out of his shell and he was starting to be more like the child I knew (I was considering counselling). They continued to help him get ready for school and has moved up to school happy and confident.
Whilst being told at the previous preschool that 'boys are lazy and don't write or draw' they helped him enjoy drawing and
