We are extremely proud of Elmsleigh and it gives us great pleasure to inform you about life at our school. Elmsleigh is all about creating a happy and secure learning environment for your child. The first years in school are vital in the development of attitudes and we will ensure that your child will develop a positive enquiring mind in a stimulating learning environment, whilst at the same time excelling in enjoyment and achievement.
Governors meet at least once every half-term. Parents, the Headteacher, the Staff, members of the local community and the Local Authority are represented. They are all committed to the further development of the school and the achievement of the children who attend. Our Governors play an active role in supporting Elmsleigh and have a genuine interest in the success of our school.
If you are struggling to get to work on time, or would benefit from having an extra 55 minutes in the morning then you can always drop your child off from 7.50am for breakfast!. Breakfast club is a very popular opportunity for the children not only to enjoy a tasty breakfast but to socialise with their friends before lessons start.
At Elmsleigh Infant School, we take great pride in ensuring that our children feel happy and safe at all times and have excellent relationships with all of our families. We understand that all families may have times when they or their children are struggling, not only with their learning but in other ways too.
