Rasoi Indian Restaurant & Deli
The kitchen is the most important room of an Indian household. This is where the family come together to chat, relax and eat, and there is always something delicious cooking on the stove. We believe we have created an outstanding restaurant with a concept which is very different to traditional Indian establishments.

We are sure whatever your taste, with the highest quality and freshest ingredients partnered with a talented team, we can create a dish which is perfect for you. Our Head Chef Gurwinder Singh has travelled across Europe and India, from Delhi to Rajasthan, to Berlin to Dublin and ultimately to Lenzie, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Services
Owners Pravesh ('Bubbles') & Rahul Randev opened Carriages where their mother, Mrs Randev, would come and cook pakora for the regular customers of the bar. It was said that this was the best pakora this side of Glasgow and that the family should think about opening an Indian restaurant. Pravesh & Rahul Randev first experimented with Indian cuisine in 1995 with the launch of Delhi Express.
In a rich sauce of fresh ginger, red chilli, crushed tomatoes, mixed peppers & coriander served with a mini naan bread. Lamb on the bone, marinated in Indian spices, cooked in the Tandoor, served with mint raita. A mix of chicken and vegetable pakora, vegetable samosa, Punjabi lollipops and house salad, served with a trio of homemade dipping sauces.

Collected a lamb bhunna from the delhi express, while eating a number of human hairs were found in my meal.
After calling them, i was offered free pompadoms and spicy onions.
No refund!!!
They need to up their hygiene in the kitchen.

We came here tonight for a family meal. Ordered drinks they came and my son noticed the glasses were dirty but also had what looked like dirt in them, told the waiter no apology said he would bring more this took ages and we had 2 ask where they were. brought new drinks and again the glasses weren't very clean. I asked for another glass of water… the waiter brought a jug, the jug was filthy and full of these black dirty spots again no apology was given. Food wasn't up too much either starter's were lively but main meal was nit and tbh I was totally put off with the dirty glasses and jug

Was quoted 20 mins to collect a take away. Turned up at 20 mins, then waited a further 25 mins before I finally got my meal. No offer of a refund, only a measly apology. Understand it's busy, but don't quote a time if you can't deliver on it. lucky they've got a captive audience in lenzie. Top tip potential customers. Buy a "spice tailor" curry kit and make your own in 10 mins!

Having been recommended to this takeaway Indian Restaurant, I found it to be disappointing😞. The tandoori chicken was like ready meal chicken from marks and spencer!! The chapatis were cold !!altogether not the best but the pakora was good and the sauce was tasty. The boy that delivered the food was nice too. Thought I would try but definitely be back to my fav Delhi Darbar. Ohh it was very expensive also. xThe sauce was very thick and jelly gravy like . Won't be rushing back.

Very disappointed with our meal from Rasoi tonight. We have been customers for years with them, and have always been very happy with them. Tonight however the Curry sauce was very watery and we ordered 1 chapati plus 1 tandoori chapati, which we paid for, got 2 normal ones. Rice was awful. When I phoned to complain I felt I was just dismissed and told it would be put in the book for a discount next time we ordered. Won't be ordering with them again and don't recommend them.

My parents went and enjoyed a meal at Rasoi this week with vouchers which I had gifted them. The meal total came to half the value of the voucher. When they came to settle their bill they were advised they would have to use the whole voucher therefore a £35 meal becoming a £70 meal. My parents requested the remaining value to be left and they will return for another meal. This request was denied. Perhaps Rasio’s management team may wish to consider this unfair policy or make their gift voucher T&C very clear.

Absolutely loved it, the girl that waited on our table was very attentive and polite and made the dining out experience a good one, the decor is beautiful, only negative is that it's a bit pricey, other than that I enjoyed the experience.

Top service from the front of house team tonight. We had a mix up on the order which was actually caused by a dodgy phone connection. They went out their way to sort it out even though it was a misunderstanding that really wasn't their fault. The food was excellent.
