Services
For a peaceful, comfortable break deep in the heart of rural Suffolk, choose our B&B accommodation. Our six bed and breakfast rooms are all located in the Elizabethan farmhouse and flint stables - buildings with hundreds of years of history and real character. Each room is different, and each has its own unique 'feel'.
Light and airy, the 'Squires Room' in the farmhouse, boasts a huge four poster with antique mahogany 'sugar twist' posts. Sleep soundly and wake to enjoy the Suffolk countryside with sheep grazing on the pasture. Try our tasty home cooked breakfast and award winning marmalade. Hidden away in a traditional Suffolk flint stable, the Hayloft and private shower room occupy the first floor of this building.
Please make cheques payable to John Bellefontaine and post to Colston Hall, Badingham, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP13 8LB, United Kingdom. Bed & Breakfast payments are refundable [less a 25 administration charge] if notified 7 days before the reservation date. If the room is not vacated by 10am a charge may be made for the following night as it may not be possible to service the room in time to re-let.
Our four self-catering holiday homes are ideal for couples, groups and families who want a comfortable, well-appointed holiday cottage with the flexibility of self-catering. Our self-catering accommodation is located in the former granary and milling shed of our sixteenth-century farmhouse, now sympathetically converted into beautiful holiday homes that combine traditional character and modern convenience.
A 3-night weekend break of Friday / Saturday / Sunday nights is calculated at 80% of the weekly rate. A 4-night mid-week break of Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday nights is also calculated at 80% of the weekly rate. Full payment is required to secure a booking. Cancellations are accepted up to 14 days before the start of the let.

Beautiful atmosphere, a true Suffolk experience. I stayed in the Butler Room which had an exceptional bathroom and shower. Room is warm, oak beams all around, and hosts were charming and friendly.. Fantastic value for money in this area as well, a third, yes a third of the nearest comparable accommodation. And it's heaven! I don't feel at all that I'm staying in a room that is compromised for the price, this is just what should be the price! Breakfast wonderful, beautiful views from that room as well.. And.. The Sweffling White Horse pub is nearby, the best I've ever been to. Enjoy! Dan

Stayed on the Hayloft. Not as luxury as expected. No housekeeping after our first night and had to make our own bed !!.
Kettle didn't work but had it replaced once we explained . TV hit and miss on volume. Didn't expect to make my own toast. No choice given for toast or breakfast as would have preferred scrambled egg.
Very friendly couple but unfortunately not the sort of quality that is intended

Stayed here a few times now, I stay away around the uk at different BnBs / hotels due to work..
The hosts here are great, welcoming very friendly. Put me in the same room whenever I stay. Its Cosy, clean and comfortable, with a rustic feel to the place. WiFi’s good also. I request breakfast 🍳 at 0700 and this is never a problem. It’s also cooked really well with plenty of choice. The place is quiet and peaceful. With a good pub situated only a short drive away..
Highly recommend..
