Services
This architect designed contemporary single storey holiday property, offers you the chance to get away from it all and enjoy the village in extremely comfortable surroundings. The living space has floor to ceiling windows and in the milder months, nothing beats throwing open the doors and enjoying the outdoor indoors!
Only a two hour drive from London, you will find Orford off the beaten track, this gem is a friendly coastal town with a castle keep, which was built by Henry II in the 12th century, and an active quay from where you can take boat trips on the Alde river to Aldeburgh and Shingle Street. Famous for its Smokeries and Butley oysters.
Want to spread your wings and leave Orford? Well there are many lovely places to visit nearby that you can just follow your nose and see where you end up. But for those of you who want some guidance, here are a few places we've visited nearby, as obviously you don't want to go too far afield! Most people are familiar with Aldeburgh for its long beaches but it really is a lovely town by the sea.

A fantastic house which mixes original period features with ultra modern facilities. Really quiet spot but just a walk from the village with its great fish restaurant, pub, 'honesty box' newspaper shop and incredible bakery…..people are queuing in the morning!
The wood burner and kitchen really make you feel you are away from everything and there are some great walks around the village looking out to sea. There’s a lovely garden room for relaxing afternoons and private gardens too and everything is top notch.....Will definitely be back!
