Run Cottage Touring Park
Close to the market town of Woodbridge we are a small, adult only, family run touring caravan park with just 45 generously size pitches together with 2 Luxury glamping pods. We are located on Suffolk's beautiful Heritage Coast on the outskirts of the village of Hollesley. Set in 4.5 acres of parkland, with a large pond and views over open farmland, we offer peace and tranquillity, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of today's busy life style.

When you visit Run Cottage, you will soon discover we have an abundance of native wildlife to see, from sparrows to barn owls, rabbits to deer, by the stream at the bottom of the site you may see ducks, moorhens, egrets and maybe even catch sight of the elusive king fisher!

Run Cottage is a small Adults Only family run caravan touring park located on Suffolk beautiful Heritage Coast. Close to the market town of Woodbridge. We have just 45 generously spaced pitches together with 2 Luxury Glamping pods located in 4.5 acres of mature parkland with a large pond and views over open farmland.
Andy and Michele purchased the land at Run Cottage in 1998 to build a family home, having lived at the opposite end of the village for a number of years, we knew of the old derelict cottages that were there but the whole site was so overgrown with trees and brush we didn't know how much land came with it, it turned out the cottages stood on 1 acre of land.
Mostly grass setting, the hardstandings which we wanted were fewer in number and from a commercial viewpoint they give these to long bookings and seasonal pitches. It was really really wet, but their ground is really good draining, which due entirely to the quality of infrastructure that the whole place demonstrates.
We are located, in Suffolk, East-Anglia, in the pretty village of Hollesley, 20 minutes south-east of Woodbridge. Turn Right off the A12 (Ipswich-Saxmundham) at Melton onto A1152 (sp Bawdsey, Orford) within 1.5 miles turn right at roundabout onto B1083 (sp Bawdsey, Hollesley) within 0.75 miles fork left (sp Hollesley 5 Miles) (not straight on) you arrive into Hollesley on Duck corner Cross Roads.
The richest burial ever discovered in Britain; an Anglo-Saxon ship containing the treasure of one of the earliest English Kings. We are the nearest park to the popular Sutton Hoo visitor centre. Then we have two very different castles in two very different towns. Orford was built on the coast in the 12th century.

Very lovely adult only site
Nice and peaceful.
And flat .
Only 15 minutes walk into village and local pub. The area is very nice with Heath Lands and Forests.
Plenty of Dog Walking in the area . RUN CITTAGE has a large Dog Excercise area with closed Gate.

We have just returned home from a 2 week stay at the beautifully presented and maintained site. Andy and Michelle never stop working and are on hand to help. This is an Adult only site which welcomes dogs with a dedicated dog walking area also spotlessly clean. Recommended highly

Lovely adult only site, very friendly staff šŸ˜€, enclosed dog exercise are.
Very tidy and well kept site.
No groundsheet rule on grass pitch is probably why the grass is in such great shape šŸ‘. Separate unisex toilets away from the main shower block is convenient.

Very good but more suited for a caravan than a motor home bit out of the way for us

Well kept, quiet, nice facilities although the push button showers need to be sent back to the 1970s, unhealthy obsession with grass pitches is odd, unsure why all pitches aren't hard standings rather than ban ground sheets. Great location for cycling and exploring.

Lovely gem of a caravan touring site. Very friendly and helpful owners, who gave me a (much needed) caravan reversing lesson on arrival. Immaculately maintained site with very clean facilities. Pretty and helpful little touches everywhere, including an enclosed field to let your dogs run around and a little hut with tons of local information on restaurants and things to do. Being adult only is a huge bonus if you want somewhere quiet and civilised (sorry to all families, but Iā€™d rather not hear your kids whilst Iā€™m on holiday!). Walking distance from a decent pub that does quite nice food
