Higher Menadew Farm is our home and we have two children Samantha and James. Andrew was born and bred at Higher Menadew, his parent's having moved here in 1944, and Anita originates from London. We appreciate that quality holidays are important, they are a time to relax, refresh and enjoy. Consequently, when we diversified and opened our first cottage in 1999 we set about making a "home from home" where that could happen.
We have designed and equipped our cottages with thought and care to provide a super place for your holiday. The cottages are comfortable, welcoming and warm with wooden beams, comfy sofas, beds with pocket spring mattresses, bathroom towels, flat screen digital TVs, DVD players, and broadband wifi internet access.

The porch leads into the stylish open plan living area with high exposed wooden trusses, fully equipped kitchen, pine furnished dining area, and matching sofas in the spacious lounge area.

The inspiration for the name 'Rafters' comes from the truly impressive first floor open plan living area, which features exposed wooden beams and classic wooden flooring. Upstairs, the stylish galleried open plan living room has a cosy wood burner and a dining table large enough for ten should friends accompany in the neighbouring cottage.
