To be brutally honest the one star I have given this poor excuse for an estate agent is one star too many. My brother and I put my mums house on the market at the beginning of the year. Everything was going great with plenty of viewings. However my mum lives in a very desirable area in Holmfirth, so this wasn’t a surprise. Once a buyer had been found that was as far as it went!! Zero communication and false promises all the way to the end….. “Emma is in a meeting, I’ll get her to phone you back once she’s finished her meeting” This was a standard response when I phoned for updates on

We couldn't be happier with the service we received from the SB team! We would highly recommend them as they got us 12 viewings in one day, 6 offers, and it sold for over asking price! We got to know the Holmfirth office quite well whilst selling our property as we always popped in to say hi and check progress. We were always greeted with smiles.
Joe did a great job of valuing our house and asking questions to make sure the evaluation was accurate. Grace and Samantha were always checking in with a happy and positive attitude and there was always someone to answer the phone and deal with our questions

I have recently sold my house through Simon Blyth Holmfirth office, and relocated to North Yorkshire. I had expected with being a 'lockdown' sale that it might be tricky, but it couldn't have been further from the truth.
From first meeting Joseph who impressed me with his local knowledge and clear enthusiasm about marketing my property, to the fantastic brochure photos taken by Dustin who made my house look so good I almost didn't want to move!

I received a professional and efficient service, well described by a recent reviewer. The house was given a good and realistic valuation by Joseph Johnson and photographed professionally by Dustin. Many requests to view were received, and the house sold on the first day of viewing. The subsequent support received from Grace Brown in the office was excellent.

We recently bought a property sold by Simon Blyth. James S was extremely helpful and professional throughout the entire process. James was very attentive and always on hand to answer our queries promptly, we could not be happier with the service he provided, he has been absolutely amazing! Also, the sellers solicitor was rather slow but James was always happy to speak to them and the vendor on our behalf whenever we needed, his efforts massively helped to speed things up and get us moved into our new house before Chistmas, which we are delighted about.
