The Ace Centre Nursery School
Providing a range of sessions for all of Chipping Nortons under-5's, under one roof. You will find different services for children of different ages at ACE Centre Nursery School, ACE Childcare and ACE Pre-School. Supporting all families with outstanding and flexible provision both in term time and through the school holidays.

We offer 15 or 30 hours funded education places in term time and wrap around care to extend these hours. Out of term time, children love our holiday playscheme. We provide a hub for early years professional development and collaboration in the heart of Chipping Norton. Explore our Chipping Norton Community area.
Services
We provide regular opportunities to listen to parents and carers' knowledge of their unique child and to share our observations of their child's experiences, learning and development. By developing a close dialogue with a child's important adults, we can respond effectively to children's fascinations, needs and aspirations.
Forest School has been a key part of Scandinavian Early Years education since the 1950's, and was introduced in the UK in the mid-1990's. The ACE Centre is proud to have been actively involved in developing and disseminating Forest School provision since the pilot scheme in Oxfordshire in 2000 and we have been offering this experience to our children ever since.
Care and early learning for children under 3 is provided for 51 weeks of the year within our small day nursery, a cosy and nurturing setting, where children are supported by their key person and a dedicated team of early years practitioners. ACE Childcare is open Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
ACE Pre-School is often a child's first experience of learning through play where they are independent from their Parents and Carers, therefore the Key Person is a very important practitioner. Every child and family will have a Key Person who is their special person, there to help your child settle and be the link between home and setting.
This national recognition of our outstanding work in Early Years education has enabled us to continue the work we started as an Early Years Teaching Centre in 2011. We are a lead school in an alliance of Teaching Schools in Oxfordshire called the Oxfordshire Teaching School Alliance (OTSA), where we take a leadership role in developing the quality of Early Years Foundation Stage.
