Prices range from 120 to 260 per dress and, if you are an Anne Whittaker bride, you may be entitled to a 10% discount across the range. Ask for details. We don't carry every design shown, but fetch your ideas to your appointment and we will endeavour to bring them to life.
I first went looking at wedding dresses 3 years before my wedding and whilst some shops didn't take me seriously, the second I walked in to Anne Whittaker I was made to feel so welcome. The whole atmosphere is so relaxed and I was encouraged to look at other places as well, but I kept going back there to one dress and ended up buying it!
We are based in the market town of Accrington in Lancashire which is just one mile from the M65 and 3 miles from the M66. We are easily accessible from Blackburn, Burnley, Rawtenstall, Bolton and even Manchester!. There is an hours free parking available directly in front of our shop and there is a car park behind our premises which offers 3 hours free parking.
It's not every day you get married so how are you supposed to know the what, where's and how's of ordering your wedding attire? Here are a few pointers which may help you in your planning. Yes they are. We have a fantastic self-employed seamstress who will meet you at the shop and alter your dress as required.

I would give Anne Whittaker Bridal 6 stars if I could. I have nothing but good things to say about Lindsay, Shereen and the experience I had buying my dream dress. From the start I was made to feel welcome, comfortable and individual. They have a great range of dresses in store. I kind of knew what I wanted and Lindsay help me get there. It was the first shop I went to (out of 2) and knew by the end of the day I'd found the one. I wanted to add my own touch and customise the sleeves and buttons down the back. Nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding was postponed several times due to covid and

Lindsay and Shereen were absolutely amazing! I really struggled to find an outfit I really loved until I met these fairy godmothers. They were so patient and kind and this helped me find a dress I loved and was comfortable in. They were so professional and down to earth and conversation flowed easy. It really helped that they listened to what I wanted rather than what they thought would look great. They are really flexible which is great if you work shifts.Can’t recommend them highly enough. They made my experience a positive one and for that I am forever grateful!

5* service. Changed my wedding date due to covid and they were amazing with only having 6months to do all my fittings and ordering my accessories. They worked all the appointments around what was best for me and my bridesmaid who was the 1 that was getting me into the dress on the big day. If there was something I wasn't happy with it was quickly fixed. They even helped build my confidence on walking down the aisle, keeping my head up and shoulders back. Thank you 😊 x

If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would , the ladies at Anne Whittaker’s are absolutely fantastic, they are so attentive and went above and beyond to find me the most beautiful dress for my special day, from the very start to the very last dress fitting I felt at ease and would absolutely recommend everybody searching for that perfect dress to look here.

The best most friendly experience I've ever had ♥️ I only went looking for a dress style and got my dream dress and it was so affordable! Lindsay, aka ‘The Wedding Dress Whisperer’, was amazing from start to finish. She gauged what I liked from very little information and suggested a dress which I wouldn’t have picked off the hanger but which ended up being The One. This was after going to 3-4 different shops and feeling very disillusioned.
She was great throughout Covid, even allowing me to keep my dress there rather than needing to bring it home with me. She was reassuring, always pleasant, and is clearly passionate about what she does which made the experience a joy.

I got my wedding dress from Ann Whittakers, and I am so happy I did. I absolutely loved my dress, and the service was outstanding. Couldn't of asked for more. Lindsay and shereen were both so helpful and made my whole experience so enjoyable. 100% recommend to anyone wanting the most beautiful dress x
