The Cutty Sark is a re-take on the traditional Inn, located at 4 Grove Place, the Cutty Sark, previously The Albion Hotel has been an Inn for over 200 years. With over 200 years of history the Cutty Sark has seen many changes in its time, but what remains a constant is it being a place to meet, eat, drink and sleep.
Situated on the edge of the Falmouth estuary, close to events square in a classic Georgian building. The Cutty Sark offers 10 individual and modern rooms. Available are 6 with en-suite, 1 with its own exclusive shower room and 3 rooms with shared bathroom, which can be offered as an exclusive area for families or groups.
We're more than just pub grub, Cutty Sark's restaurant offers generous, relaxed, fun food. Come tuck in and experience locally sourced, British produce that's crafted into punchy, yet classic full flavored dishes. We make sure that wherever possible, our food is traceable, local and seasonal. Our suppliers are carefully chosen by supporting local farmers and artisan producers.
Our bar was envisioned, designed, stocked, and staffed with one mission in mind, to bring you great times. Bar1869 is Falmouth's brand new event bar. It is a flexible area which not only works for private parties and functions, with a well-stocked bar and options for food service it would be great for product launches, business meetings with access to good technology and much much more.

Stayed for one night recently, in room number 8, which has superb views across the marina to flushing. The room is spotlessly clean with an extremely comfortable bed , and a good range of refreshments. A private shower and toilet is just across the hall with a great power shower. There was a lot of choice for breakfast and the vegan and vegetarian option was outstanding. The cutty Sark has a great and friendly atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we had a great stay and hope to return soon.

This was my second time staying at the Cutty Sark, and for good reason. Great customer service = customer loyalty. I had a last minute job booked the day after I called to book. John managed to move things around for me with such short notice of which I am very grateful for. Amazing service from Jay on the bar mixed with an amazing full Cornish breakfast and you've got yourself 5 stars. Best place to stay in Falmouth.

A lovely stay over the new year. John was polite and attentive despite apparently being the only member of staff due to Covid.
Room was lovely with great views across the harbour.
Breakfast was excellent with generous portions.
A shame the bar was closed but couldn't be helped in the circumstances.
We will definitely stay again.

My partner and I stayed here over the festive period. The pub itself is so clean and cosy. We had a great room, very spacious and location couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was good too.
Jon was very welcoming and accommodating, and always on hand to help. We would definitely stay here again. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Thanks for a lovely stay.

Our room was lovely and clean and staff friendly and helpful. Was considering giving 4 stars because it's a little antiquated, steep staircases to rooms, no on-site parking, no ensuite for us. But if none of that matters to you (which it didn't to us) and taking into account these things are reflected in a more reasonable price than elsewhere, it got 5 stars from us. We loved it.

Hannah and Mark made me most welcome and were good company to talk to. The decor is very nice as was the lovely room and super king sized bed. The young staff were very attentive. The place is ideally suited as it is just a two minutes walk and you've reached town. I'm from London and it took me a little while to get used to how quiet my room was - no planes and no cars! I had a very enjoyable short break. Thank you, Hannah and Mark and all the staff for such a pleasant stay, I'm looking forward to going back already!
