Wilby is a small Church of England village primary school located in the village of Wilby. The school building was built in 1854 and was funded by the Church. Many extensions have been added to the original Victorian building. Love and care for others are at the heart of the school's work and ethos.

Services
Compassion is about 'standing in someone else's shoes' when they are having a hard time. In other words, trying to understand how they might be feeling and doing our best to try to help. The special relationship we have with certain people; a friend loves and cares for you at all times. Christians believe that God's friendship towards us will last forever.
Parents may request paper copies of the information and Policies/Reports shown on this website, these are provided free of charge upon request. Wilby CE VA Primary School receives a Pupil Premium for each child who is entitled to receive Free School Meals or has been entitled to receive Free School meals over the last five years; and for any Looked After Children.
At Wilby CE VA Primary School our curriculum is designed to enable our children to be effective communicators who have a voice, to reach their full potential through high aspirations and to become confident, happy, well-rounded citizens who can take on any challenge. Governors are at the heart of how a school operates. It is important they get things right. How they do their job affects the interests of pupils, staff morale and how the school is seen by parents and others in the community. Governors at Wilby CE VA Primary School work as a team and are responsible for making sure the school provides a good quality education.
The PE and Sport Allocation is funding provided to schools in addition to main school funding. This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on the provision of PE and sport in schools. The government is providing additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools.
