Today we had some great fun creating famous landmarks! Each of our tables are named after a City, we have Beijing, Rio, London, Rome and New York. First, we spoke about these cities, which country they were in and where they were in the world- some of us had even visited these cities before!. Each morning when we arrive in class, we have 20 minutes of relaxation and mindfulness, to help us settle and get ready for the day!
This morning our job was to 'finish the doodle', we had to concentrate really well, and we listened to some relaxing music whilst we finished them. We all d. We have elected our year 4 school councillors! We discussed together and made a list of the qualities we think are important in a school councillor.

At St Francis RC Primary School we offer a curriculum which is broad and balanced and which builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills of all children, whatever their starting points, and which also prepares them for the next stage of their education.
At St Francis RC Primary School, we regard the safeguarding of children as our main priority and we all have a shared responsibilty. The Designated Safeguarding Leads in school are Mrs Louise Frize and Mrs Liz McGowan. We believe that we all have the right to be happy, to be safe and to learn. We all have the responsibility to make this happen.
Although we hope that the majority of our children will now have an uninterrupted experience, there is the possibility that an individual child, a class bubble, or indeed the whole school, will need to self-isolate for a period of time. We have therefore put in place a plan for remote learning so that all children can continue with their education.

Could we request that, if you do park on the street, you don't park on the double yellow lines or the zig zags.

I have been in this school for 7 years now it's amazing and they are 2x dodgeball champions same goes with the tennis football and all the sports you could image . And the school trips are outstanding going to restaurants in year 3 , and going to tesco to help out with the customers!! , going to Blackpool pleasure beach and Nickelodeon land in year 5 , at the end of year 6 you get to go to petty pool for 3 days for under £300, it's all great fun . They have competitions like St.Francis got talent it was unbelievable . They have fun ways of teaching you , if you are not fully English no problem
