During my career in Hairdressing I have picked up many skills and continue to learn more every day. As long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a hair stylist and I'm loving every minute of it. I am a friendly, out going person who loves spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy living close to the beaches in Falmouth as in the summer we all go down to Gilly beach bar and restaurant.
When I was at school I wanted to do either hairdressing or childcare. I decided on hairdressing and I've never looked back. I followed the apprenticeship route to complete the NVQ2 and then later completed the NVQ3. I was a keen learner and won Apprentice of the year! I love all aspects of hairdressing and I get enjoyment from making my clients happy.
My passion is colouring and I have completed the Loreal Colour Expert course while working as a stylist in central London. During my career I've worked alongside and learnt from Loreal national and international educators and colourists. Andrew Barton was our creative director. I love being part of a salon team and enjoy learning new skills and bouncing ideas off each other.
If it's your first colour with us, you will need a skin test between 48 hours and 5 days before your appointment. If you are unsure which service you require or are looking for inspiration, please book in for a complimentary consultation. A blow dry is not included with your colour service and will need to be booked in with your stylist.

Unfortunately not the best experience with Molly but definitely most expensive and traumatic I had with hair dressers. For the price I have paid in this studio, I normally would have nearly 2 visits any other studio if would add £10.
Instead of highlights ended up with platinum blonde with ginger roots. The combination of colors I ended up with was contrasting very warm and cold tones 😞. Now I still can get rid of ginger tones from my hair. I was disappointed with Mollys work, pictures from the studio of my hair looks nothing like actual colours I ened up with, makes me think that her portfolio

Marzipan is the best hair salon in Cornwall. I've been going to Hannah for years and even though I moved away to live in Hampshire I still drive the 4 hours back to Truro and tie in visiting family with getting my hair done at Marzipan! It's worth the drive, I wouldn't trust anyone else with my colour. Lovely atmosphere too, everyone always remembers you. Loads of my family have swapped from other salons to join the Marzipan family! Never looked back, they're all regular clients now!

THE best. I've had a variety of services here, including colour, cut, blow dry, styling - every time without fail it is brilliant. I used to find going to the hair salon a real chore but I popped in on the off chance on a Saturday afternoon - they squeezed me in and I have never looked back. I've had a number of different stylists too... each one is just consistently great!
