Ashbrook Engineering
Ashbrook Engineering Ltd have been based on Kingsmill Industrial Estate, just off the M5 at Cullompton, for over twenty five years. Peter started the business in 1990 and has built up an enviable reputation for quality and reliability. Starting in 400 square feet of space with a single lathe and mill, now we work out of 4000 square feet with state of the art CNC machines and large capacity manual machines.

We offer a sub-contract machining service to some very prestigious companies in the Cryogenic, Medical, Oil and Gas, Vacuum Moulding and Marine industries. In fact, some of our work is currently in orbit on the International Space Station which, I must admit, gives us a bit of a buzz when we see it cross the sky at night.
Services
Ashbrook Engineering has a proven track record in repairing or reverse engineering components which have broken or worn out. Using our expertise and experience we can often repair or reproduce a shaft or housing, for example, at often a fraction of the cost of a new replacement, even if that replacement is available.
Starting from an initial conversion, our skilled engineers can make a designer's concept into a reality. Using CAD/CAM, 3D printing, CNC machining, conventional machining or welding and fabrication of a prototype through to full production, Ashbrook Engineering can realise your concept. We can also advise on materials, production options and final finishes.
Sub-contract machining, using both CNC and conventional machines, is our main business. We specialise in one offs to small batch work. If you want a million widgets, I am afraid I can't help you, but if you want one, or ten, or one hundred, then that is right up our street and is exactly the work I set the business up to do.
Ashbrook Engineering offer a comprehensive machine shop to its customers with horizontal and vertical CNC machining. Producing products for industries such as Cryogenics, Space, Food, Oil, Marine and Power we are the chosen engineering company for quality, precision and expertise when it comes to CNC Milling.
Some customer's components, such as the Cryogenic, Vacuum Moulds or Marine industries, design extremely complicated components. These can only be machined using CAD/CAM. To this end Ashbrook Engineering Ltd has invested in state of the art computers dedicated to running Solid Works, linked with Solid Cam.
