Rotamic Engineering Ltd is a specialist precision engineering company manufacturing a diverse range of components to customers in a variety of industrial sectors - primarily aerospace but also medical, laser instrument, high vacuum, defence, and oil & gas. For many years Rotamic has supplied bespoke components into the aerospace supply chain.
These include aviation grade steel and aluminium alloys and stainless steels, titanium alloys, magnetic materials including cobalt and nickel alloys and a wide variety of engineering plastics. The company has been producing bespoke components for a diverse customer base for almost 40 years.

The Rotamic Engineering approach to our customer needs and expectations has been the main driver in our business. Customer satisfaction and continual improvements are essential in a demanding and changing market. Based in Exeter, Devon, Rotamic Engineering Ltd have been manufacturing precision machined components for over 40 years and have achieved AS9100, BS EN ISO9001, ISO45001 and BS EN ISO 14001 certification.
Rotamic has supplied customers in the aerospace sector for over 20 years and this currently forms our largest market sector. To meet the increasing requirements of this market, in addition to ISO9001, Rotamic Engineering obtained the aerospace standard AS 9100 in 2006. Approvals and accreditations form a core structure around which our working practices and company culture is based.
Rotamic has worked to supplied customers in the aerospace sector for over 20 years and this currently forms the largest market segment we supply. After securing AS 9100 we now work with several major aerospace companies, supplying a wide range of components and assemblies, most are shipped to stock, using Kan Ban, and JIT.
We have continually invested in new equipment to drive the business to remain competitive and have adopted the latest technology where appropriate for machinery, metrology equipment, tooling and software, this has enabled us to remain competitive in a global market. We have ongoing programmes for the training and development of staff, as well as a number of lean and continuous improvement programmes running throughout the factory.
