Raynham Primary School
The school serves an area rich in cultural and linguistic diversity. 94% of our children are from Ethnic Minority backgrounds, with 80% of our children at different stages of developing English as an additional language. At Raynham Primary School we have very high expectations of all our students: academically, behaviour and general wellbeing.

We are very serious about children making the best of their educational opportunities but also believe they should have fun and see learning as a lifetime journey. We are committed to preparing our young people for life and the challenges they may meet.
Services
We are a three-form entry school and currently have one year group with four classes in Key Stage 2. The school caters for children from 2 - 11 years old. We are an inclusive school who prides ourselves on Quality First teaching with high expectations and aspirations for all pupils. We encourage every child to reach their full potential.
I hope that you are all managing to stay safe and look after yourselves and your loved ones during these unprecedented times. At Raynham we endeavour to keep ourselves safe and healthy and we have put many measures in place to ensure this. Each class is a bubble and moves around the school accessing all of the necessary resources and amenities successfully.
The Enfield Schools admission Service is based at the Civic Centre in Enfield. They co-ordinate the admissions process for the children starting school for the first time and also the primary to secondary school transfer process. The service also deals with the requests for transfers and will provide advice about admission appeals and the formal exclusions process.
To provide a supportive, stimulating environment in which each child is enabled and encouraged to attain the highest standard of achievement of which he or she is capable. To ensure that the curriculum is broad and well balanced following all subjects in the National Curriculum. To create varied learning situations which are challenging in order to capture pupils' interest and imagination.
Schools have a duty 'to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation to promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs'. The Government set out its definition of British values in the 2011 Prevent Strategy, and these values have been reiterated.

A very popular school. I have family living around this area. Nightmare when school starts and finishes. Traffic horrendous. Don't advise this area when busy.
