We have recently finished a full refurbishment of the property with new carpets and fittings throughout. We are a 10 minute walk from Maidstone town centre, Maidstone West train station and a short bus ride from Maidstone Hospital. The bus stops just outside the hotel for easy access. We have a small, friendly team of staff, making Rock House feel like home. The Victorian section of the building was once a school. It was founded in 1918 as the Co-educational Junior Technical School for Boys and the Junior Commercial School for Girls. The school was based at two sites in Maidstone town centre: Faith Street and Tonbridge Road.

As you leave Maidstone town centre on the A26 towards Tonbridge, you will see our new white signs on the right. If you are cycling, you are more than welcome to use our secure basement to store your bike. Ask our staff for assistance. From Maidstone West, exit the station building and turn left. As you approach the main road you should see a monument opposite.
We have a variety of single, double, twin and family rooms available. All rooms have televisions, under counter fridges and tea & coffee making facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available around the hotel. Special rates are available for contractors, Blue Light Card holders, key workers and long stay guests.
We offer a full English breakfast with sausage, bacon, fried/scrambled/poached egg, grilled tomatoes, beans, hash brown and mushrooms, bread, fruit juice with fresh tea and coffee. We now offer a variety of lunchtime snacks and evening meals too. All home cooked in the Rock House kitchen. Please ask our staff for details of our current menu.

We offer discounts for the UK's Emergency Services, Armed Forces, NHS staff and other members of the Blue Light Card scheme. Please present your Blue Light Card upon check-in to claim your discount.
