Dirty, bar prices eye watering, children banned from pool, senior staff with atrocious attitude.
Cobwebs and thick dust on window dressings, worn and dirty carpets.
Have stayed in hundreds of hotels ranging from budget to luxury. This one though stands out for being terrible.
Do not make the mistake of thinking this is a family hotel either. Kids most definitely not welcome.

Hard to fault this place. Excellent service from everyone encountered bar none. This place has real character even though we appeared to be on the more modern side where everything was on the ground floor (even if it was quite easy at times to become disorientated!). Rooms clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Very well-equipped spa with good booking system and provision of towels and robes. Very generously sized pool and comfy sun loungers. Particularly liked the Restaurant which boasted a fine tapas menu which was delicious and the breakfast was enough to set you up for the whole day. Can't speak

On a positive note the food was good. We ate in the restaurant one night and were more than happy. Same with breakfast.
The real let down was how tired the room was. Paper peeled off the walls, mould was in the bathroom. The shower leaked. The beautiful antique wardrobe needed some attention on the hinges.
Room service was poor.
Twice our complimentary water had not been refilled.
There were no bathrobes so I had to ask for those. The toilet cistern top was dirty. The shower gel was almost empty through our whole stay.
It was not worth the £200.00+ that we paid per night.
