Was recommended this place, so I phoned up to book a function here and the man on the phone couldn't do less to help!!
He questioned everything I said rather than offering what they could do, which is horrible as someone who already gets nervous on the phone.
Will not be going here, will just book a meal/function somewhere else in Leek instead. Politely told him what we wanted but he has never emailed back unsurprisingly!
Just aweful, no matter how nice the pictures and reviews are. I hope your experience is better than mine, with this grumpy individual.

Me and my oldest best friends go here every year for a meal before Christmas. Although this might not necessarily keep them in business it's one of the highlights of the festive season. In the last - at least - 10 years we've never had anything but the highest quality service and food and drink. It's really like going to an old friends as we always get a warm welcome. I'd never hesitate to recommend Peak Weavers to anyone - a real treasure.

Never stayed at the hotel but have eaten in the restaurant plenty of times. They serve food Wednesday to Saturday in the nicely appointed dining room and you get the table for the evening once you have booked it. The menu is always rotated every month or two, created from locally sourced produce where they can and always with imaginative twists on the classic British and French classics. Service isn't rushed, the price is pitched just right and the food is always outstanding, if you get chance to eat out in leek and are looking for something a little bit special, definitely try and get a table

Peak Weavers Hotel is located in a former convent and is therefore a very picturesque building, although some of the rooms are odd sizes. My family stayed here on a visit and enjoyed it - there were enough rooms for them to take 4 and all be together. The food is good - there is also a restaurant that is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and serves excellent quality food at reasonable prices. The ambience is good for a romantic dinner rather than a family meal, with flowers and candlelight, so if you are looking for a venue for Valentines Day, this is just the place.
