Very good food, nice rooms with your own noiseless fridge with fresh milk for your tea coffee or chocolate, all complimentary, as is bathroom toiletries. Tvs and hairdryers in rooms, some rooms are dog friendly. Lovely position , walk straight out onto Peak District trails.

We enjoyed the Indulgence menu here in November and it was absolutely delicious. We had our own waitress (Alice) who was very knowledgeable about the paired wines (and cheese!) and talked us through each course. It should be called the ‘Over Indulgence’ menu as we were stuffed by the end of it! Each course was well cooked, well matched with wine and super tasty.
Would totally do it again! Lovely evening, thank you so much.

Just stayed here for one night, but it was really such a wonderful little gem. The staff were so attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. There was even a welcome drink in the room, a crackling log fire in the lounge and warm, cosy beds as an extra bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to come back here for some more Peak District adventures.

This hotel was amazing staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Netflix and prime in room ( just have to sign in). Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice. We booked our evening meal there and food was worthy of a Michelin star. Nice walks in the area. Will definitely recommend and will be returning

Went here for a wedding and it was beautiful. The hall is lovely and the actual wedding at the hall was beautiful. The staff were all so lovely and polite. The food was stunning really tasty food. We did pay £150 for the room but because it was for a wedding it was worth it and the food was so nice
