We went to Briscola on Sat 13/11.. we’ve been customers for many years, even though we’ve moved away from Bollington we still love to go back. I’ve recently been advised I have a Gluten intolerance, just getting to grips with it all. I was pleasantly surprised to find Briscola offer Gluten Free pasta in all their pasta dishes, as well as GF Garlic bread… which was just amazing. I told them they definitely need to publicise this more as it’s a fantastic addition.

Not what I really enjoyed. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great but the wine was not great and food was only average. Not what I would class as a great Italian restaurant unfortunately, considering I really wanted to enjoy it. Left wine and struggled to finish food.

Table booked for 8.30pm Friday 27th. we arrived 5 mins early and shown to our seats and were served a drink almost immediately. and then ordered our food moments later. 1 hour later we still hadn't been served so we paid our drinks bill and left. an hour to wait is a bit extreme. Thanks to Deli Al Forno for a top notch delivery.

Love eating at Briscola and decided to get take away tonight....usually pizza but decided to try a couple pasta dishes for a change and they were delicious!
A restaurant where the take away isn't different from the meal you would get in the restaurant. 🙌🙌

Fantastic meal — first time visiting the area. Food was esquisito, and the staff hard-working and friendly. Lasagne really was top-notch.

Brilliant pizza and pasta served up for my birthday. Was glad to choose the place for my takeaway order - the whole family loved it. Absolutely no contest in terms of quality when compared with Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Domino's etc. - this place is way better. Shame we can't eat in at the moment, but such is the world we live in. Takeaway is very good indeed, bringing the essence of the restaurant home.

Went to Briscola last night and sitting outside made me forget I was in England. The food is mouthwatering and amazing to taste. The service is quick and efficient. The customer service was just beyond 5 stars, we mentioned how much we loved one of the sauces and off her own back she found out the ingredients and the right kind of tomatoes needed to make it. Lastly the cocktails where to such a standard that you would think you’re in a cocktail bar in London. Really recommend this is definitely an all rounder the staff, food and drinks all top notch making this an awesome night with great vibes

During as visit to this area we looked forward to some Italian fare. We booked a table for 6pm thinking that any later They would be swamped. We arrived to find only 1 other table occupied. The food was expensive and mediocre. We especially disliked their policy of charging extra for the gluten free alternative. This was charged not once but twice!!! Surely gluten free pasta and pizza bases aren't that expensive. Please take note if you need gluten free

This place is great, the chef is in the know. All the food was amazing, it's romantic but it's also great for families.

The menu is extensively pleasing, there is literally something for everyone.

I had a venison dish of the special menu, the flavors were constructed very well. They have pizza, pasta, salads and main meat or vegetarian dishes. My wife had a great dish with pancetta, mushroom and truffle oil. It was perfect.

They have Italian beer on tap, local beers in the bottle, Italian beer on tap and a great wine selection.

I have been here a few times with my family.

The food is good for what it is. I have had the pizzas which are nice. Some of the pasta dishes are a little bland and I would avoid the other main courses.

For a quick pizza and a beer the place is fine and not too expensive.

This place is fine if you want a pizza but I wouldn't make the mistake of going for anything more as the other dishes are expensive and beyond the kitchen's capability.

Staff can be hit and miss from pleasant to downright rude.

Wine is ok but not great value.

We live close to this restaurant and we count ourselves lucky, the food is delicious and freshly cooked, they are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. I would recommend the olives which are really moreish and yummy! Interesting menu, specials are usually fish and the recipes are creative. Nice bar area too.

We love this place. great service, great food, good wines, fair price (for us it's normally about £80 for two with wine) - having tried all the other Italian restaurants nearby, this is the one we go back to time and again. great for romantic eve's.

Food is brilliant!
They have great lunch time specials, which are really cheap! and far more than you can eat on a lunch time. However, if you can only get through halve a pizza they are more than willing to put the rest in a box for you to take home!

The decor is great, and staff friendly and helpful, and the service is fast which is great for a lunch time

Very good Italian, very garlicy so if your not so keen you'd have to let them know, me on the other hand I love garlic! Lovely house red as well. All round fantastic meal.

Decor was really nice as well, not at all what you'd expect from a quaint little English village, very modern. They also have one of those open kitchens where you can watch them cook the pizza's in a big stove.
