Jesmond Hotel
Are you looking for a budget hotel in London? The Jesmond Hotel provides affordable Bed & Breakfast accomodation in the heart of London. We love London and we want everyone to be able to experience our city by staying with us in our historic Georgian townhouse in the fashionable and cultural district of Bloomsbury, in the West End of London.

When choosing your budget accommodation in central London, it is important not to sacrifice quality. The Jesmond Hotel has always prided itself on being a clean and comfortable hotel in the centre of London, offering accommodation that is high on quality, but not high on price. More info on rooms. We run the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis and the hearty breakfast is included in the price.
Services
The Jesmond Hotel has been run by the Beynon family for over 40 years and the family-run atmosphere is what we hope will make you feel so welcome.

Acquired by Terry and Nest Beynon in 1979, both of whom left management jobs at Marks and Spencer to purchase the Hotel, the Jesmond doubled as a family home in the early years where they raised their two sons Glyn and James from the ages of 5 and 3. Along with the family's Old English sheepdog Ben, many happy years were spent here building up the reputation of the business as well as raising two young boys.
Our fifteen bedrooms are clean, comfortable and good value. Many retain Georgian character, including tall ceilings and original fireplaces with marble surrounds. Please visit our Photo Gallery page. We have eleven en-suite bedrooms with modern shower and toilet facilities, ranging from our compact single rooms to our more spacious quint occupancy rooms.
Due to the age of the building an elevator is not available, however we are happy to help with luggage should that be required. A great way to begin the day in London is with a Jesmond Hotel breakfast. This is served from 7:30am until 9:30am every morning in the dining room (8am on Sundays).

The menu will suit all tastes; fresh fruit, cheese and cereals are all available alongside fresh filter coffee and a selection of teas but whilst staying in London we highly recommend The Jesmond Full English breakfast, which is a firm favourite with new and regular guests alike. The hearty, full English includes bacon, sausages, baked beans, eggs and tomato - you'll definitely be full until lunchtime.
Located in London's West End, Bloomsbury is a fashionable residential area that still retains some of its bohemian character. The streets and squares were developed in the late 18th Century and Bedford Square (a few minutes walk from the Jesmond Hotel) is the only Georgian square in London that remains untouched on all four sides.
We would be delighted to welcome you to the Jesmond Hotel, where you will be greeted by friendly staff, comfortable rooms and can enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast to set you up for your day in London. Whether you are staying with us for business or pleasure our aim is to help you enjoy your London experience.

It was such a refreshing change and pleasure to actually speak to the owner Mrs Beynon on the telephone and make my reservation directly with her rather than a robot or online system. My room was perfect for my needs. Clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I will definitely be returning when I next visit London.

Super nice place, close to almost everything in downtown London, close to the tube and you can get taxis very easily from their location. The breakfast was excellent that was made as per your liking and taste. And they also have a small garden for you to enjoy your morning or afternoon tea. The host also allowed us to mail our covid test kits to their address days in advance of our arrival and they handed it to us on our arrival. Loved the place.

The manager, Vince, was absolutely amazing. He told me about the building and the area it is in, which is very historical. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and he provided me with the most thorough orientation to my stay in the hotel. It made a great impression on me. The whole staff was very concerned with making my stay exceptional. I would also like to mention that the hotel is within easy walking distance of at least 3 tube stops. Very conveniently located.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast.
We enjoyed our stay at the Jesmond Hotel. Due to our planned late arrive to London they arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport, which by the was was reasonable priced. The driver was waiting for as planned which was a great start. We check into room 8 which was up a few flights of steps. I carried one of our bags to our room and the gentleman checking us in wouldn’t allow my wife to carry hers which was very welcome. We were told about the location of the breakfast room and the hours food was served. The breakfast room doubled as a

Great accommodations and great service for a great price. I paid 60 pounds for a single room with shared amenities; it would have been only 10 pounds more per night if I had wanted an ensuite bathroom. The price includes a full English breakfast, which was delicious. It's a family run hotel, and they were very accommodating when it came to my early check out so I could catch a 7:30 am flight. Even scheduled a cab on my behalf since it was a Saturday and taking the tube would have been cutting it pretty close. Takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the Goodge Street tube station, which is two

The five stars means "As good as it gets in central London, for a reasonable price." Actually, I'm so happy that I found this place - and the other affordable hotels in this neighbourhood, too. I just stayed at the Jesmond for two nights in a single. It cost £50 a night (I think it's going up to £55 next year - still a great deal), and breakfast was included. The place was friendly and meticulously clean and the breakfast was hot and made to order. I had a shared bathroom and shower and as you can imagine, the place was full up. However, all the people staying there were nice

I was initially shocked at the size of this hotel room, its less than half the size of what I am used to, but I didn't make the reservation. My friend said the reviews for this place was great, she wasn't so thrilled with her room either...needless to say it was clean and the staff was somewhat friendly. The room before you get into your room smelled like mothballs and the carpeting was very old. I have never been skived by a carpet floor but this one yes. My bare feet never touched it. It didn't look dirty but the moth ball smell and the age of the carpet just got to me. Its in

We enjoyed our visit to London an our stay here. The staff was nice and friendly and didn't look at me like I had 3 heads when I asked questions.

Nicely located just down the street from the Euston St. Station on Gower St. The noise wasn't too bad at all. An occasional siren but nothing nuts.

The rooms are small but it is London, so for the price you can't beat it. English breakfast is downstairs every morning. Do some homework and know what you are eating. Coming from the US the breakfast was ok with me, but my friends were not huge fans of it.

There is also a computer

Glenn who works here is great. The older woman, not so much. Glenn is friendly and accommodating. He was very understanding when we showed up at 9am from our red-eye flight. He took our bags which allowed us to go roam around a bit (shopping on Oxford St) before our room was ready around 1pm.

They have one computer in the lounge for free internet access, which is great. Though I did find that sometimes you had to wait since other guests want to use it too.
