Both of our Nurseries are located in convenient settings within their own private grounds, both providing Forest School and Pre-School experiences. All children are individuals and the daily routines give them the opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of activities, which are tailored to suit their needs. Our garden areas are completely enclosed, providing a safe area for outside play. For the children's enjoyment there is a wide selection of outside toys.

We are lucky to be located in spacious grounds and a new, state-of-the-art premises in the beautiful Cathedral City of Lichfield. We provide the children at our Nursery with the highest possible standard of care and our highly qualified and experienced staff recognise the importance of the well-being and nurture of children as they grow and develop.

The idea of forest schools comes from Scandinavia, where the children play and learn in woodlands and other outside areas, as part of their curriculum. Learning in the outdoor environment can help with self esteem, confidence, independence, empathy, social skills and communication. All of which link with the Early Years Foundation stage objectives.
During the main school holidays we also run clubs at Lichfield and Yoxall. These are a great hit with all children and there is a wide range of activities on offer. Running from 8.00 in the morning until 6.00 in the evening, every weekday, these holiday clubs are very flexible as you are able to book either full days or half days to suit your needs at a cost of 32.50 per day or 18 per half day.
As existing providers of Before and After School Care and Holiday Childcare at St Michael's we were delighted to be asked to partner in this exciting new phase in the School's development. This new venture will be especially attractive to working parents whose older children already attend St Michael's.
