Ashton Keynes Primary School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled School. It is one of many Church of England schools in the Diocese of Bristol, educating many hundreds of children each year. Our aim is to provide the best possible education and opportunities for all our pupils. We have a strong inclusive family ethos based on Christian values, working and striving together for a common shared goal.
To enable all children to reach their full potential. To provide academic excellence and skills for life which prepare children for modern Britain. We will instil a love of learning in a happy, stimulating environment which inspires challenge, and independence; where children feel secure to take risks and learn from their rich experiences.
The School Development Trust (Registered Charity No: 1081958) was formed in 2000 to gather and husband funds for the development and improvement of the School's facilities. It acts as a repository for funds collected or donated and is primarily aimed at major capital projects such as the building of new permanent classrooms in 2001 and the School Hall in 2006.
The school is located in the heart of Ashton Keynes village on Gosditch. There is limited parking at the school and Gosditch is very narrow so for the safety of the children we ask that parents/carers park in either the village hall car park or at the Horse & Jockey pub and walk along Gosditch when dropping off and picking up children.
