Services
Caldecote Day Nursery was founded in 1995 by proprietor Mariana Dixon whose aim was to provide high quality, affordable childcare for all. Mariana is a qualified Nursery Nurse with over 30 years' experience in childcare and early education. In 1995, the nursery opened as an 18 place setting, offering childcare to 2 - 5 year olds.
At Caldecote, we believe that through a broad and balanced curriculum, children can reach their full potential. We offer an environment that is engaging, fun and that values the children's learning. When it comes to your child, as parents, you are the experts. We aim to work closely with you to learn about your child's interests and strengths and to identify next steps in their learning.
At Caldecote Day Nursery our team all hold professional qualifications but also share the same beliefs and values, attitude and enthusiasm with regards to their outlook towards childcare. Each staff member brings different experiences to the setting but they all share the same goal of delivering a high quality, learning experience to each child.
Learn through play, whilst becoming independent, life-long learners who are expressive and able to communicate their needs, thoughts and feelings in a variety of ways. Explore and engage in fun and inspirational play-based activities, encouraged to be confident in themselves and with others while being curious in approaches to challenges.
We have monthly newsletters to keep parents and carers informed of everything that is happening at Caldecote Day Nursery and information is also regularly updated on our website. Our team keep a regular record of the progress of each child in their very own 'Learning Journal' which is online and therefore available for you to look at whenever you wish.

We recently moved from London and have seen complete different life in Rugby so was bit worried for Our son for his nursery. He joined before 4-5 weeks only and we can see his growth on everyday bases. As this was his first nursery we were too worried about his settling but highly apriciate hard work of staff and personal attention for all the changes they bought in my child. He is very happy, enjoying in nursery with personal development and learnings.
