This is a newly created role to provide support to the new Environmental trading desks and portfolio managers. As it is a new role the initial task will be varied and the right candidate will have the ability to multi task and prioritise their workload, whilst bringing experience and best practice from their current position.
We have an excellent opportunity for an Energy Operations Analyst to join a Global Commodities Business in Central London.
Responsibilities Support all swap derivatives & forwards transactions Reconciliation of the Company's Daily Cleared Open Derivative Positons with the Exchange and Clearing House Reconciliation of the Company's Daily Margin Call requirements Perform Portfolio Reconciliation as required by EMIR Independently query, challenge and resolve reconciliation discrepancies with the Clearing House Support with the roll out and delivery of the Physical Affirmations (non-brokered bilaterals) project Reviewing systems and controls and independently driving projects to further better them Maintain a pro-active knowledge of exchange developments and ensure that any potential impact to the margining process is appropriately managed Exchange feeds management Perform / validate market ad hoc operations - system static data amendments Build and maintain effective relationships with all areas of the business, particularly with Front Office, Compliance, Financial Operations, Credit and Risk Managers Other ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time.
