Soar Mill Cove Hotel
Hotels in Salcombe don't get any better than this. Revel in beautiful rooms and family suites with crisp cotton sheets, snuggle-in pillows and sea views so breathtaking that binoculars are handy to spot dolphins in the bay. Prepare yourself to experience food as seductive and exciting as the views.

The exceptional talents of our head chef, Ian MacDonald ensure that the demands of even the pickiest of diners are more than satisfied. I found this Hotel that had everything! We could bring Daisy, have a lovely garden room with adjoining room for our kids, & breakfast included! The room/suite was fab - led into a little garden which was great for Daisy, comfy beds and sofa and lovely and clean.

We had a lovely weekend here. The friendly staff made us most welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious & beautifully presented at both dinner & breakfast, the room was spacious & spotless and the massage we had in the spa was one of the best I’ve had. The coast path is right on the doorstep providing stunning views from the cove view bedrooms and the restaurant/lounge. A true gem of a hotel.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were so friendly, the room very comfortable, the restaurant served good food and there is even an area where you can dine with your dog, so rare in this country.
It is situated in a beautiful vale leading down to a secluded cove. Such a wonderful spot

This hotel has the most amazing sea view that I have ever seen. The room was so spacious, beautiful and very luxurious. If you book through the hotel you get a free cream tea which I thought was a nice touch. Lovely indoor swimming pool, gym and spa available, unfortunately we did not do any of these but when we return next year we will experience them all. Most amazing scenic walks but you need to have a reasonable amount of fitness to tackle the walks. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming we have booked for next year before we left the hotel!!!.

Stayed for two nights Our room was clean but in need of updating. The garden outside also needed some attention. Food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Good place to go if you have dogs.

Had a very lovely lunch here with stunning views. On the pricy side for a lunch stop of a casual dining experience, hence 4/5 stars. I'd go again though all the same.

Lovely situation. Slightly quirky. Dog friendly. Good food (used to be gourmet). If you like a good view, peace and walking it is ideal. If you are a young adult then you will likely want more buzz.
